I saw a video once of an octopus swimming along, and you can easily see him.
He then settles on this rock, a rock who’s color and texture did not match the background at all.
Then the octopus disappeared! Even when they took a close up shot of the rock, you simply COULD NOT see anything that looked animal or non-mineral!
Truly an awesome display of camouflage.
