Obama, Black Liberation Theology
The American Thinker ^ | Oct. 30 2008 | Kyle-Anne Shiver

I’ve always known, as should others who are acquainted with the Marxist worldview that Black Theology and thus Obama’s “pastor” are Marxists. So to respond to this forum topic, I found a great little article for those of you who want a relatively short but scholarly exploration of this. I found this little jewel at the AMERICAN THINKER.

Jeremiah Wright is the tiny tip of Obama’s spiritual iceberg

The phenomenon that raised so many questions for me in January, when I visited Trinity United Church of Christ, was not Jeremiah Wright’s sermon, which turned out to be just a call for all good congregants to support Barack Obama for President. It wasn’t the sermon that caught me off guard; I was prepared for that. I had watched video of Wright, giving five of his fiery sermons.

The thing that really got me to thinking, reading and searching for answers was the church bookstore. Usually, one finds christian books. Not so in Obama’s church bookstore. Now that I have read a number of the books that presumably Wright’s congregants (including Barack Obama) have also read, I can only conclude that the thing tying these volumes together is not Christianity, nor any real religion, but the political philosophy of Karl Marx.

“The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles.”

“Freeman and slave, patrician and plebeian, lord and serf, guild-master and journeyman, in a word, oppressor and oppressed, stood in constant opposition to one another, carried on an uninterrupted, now hidden, now open fight, a fight that each time ended, either in a revolutionary reconstitution of society at large, or in the common ruin of the contending classes.” (emphasis mine) - Marx and Engels; The Communist Manifesto; 1848

But in all fairness, Barack Obama was only 35 when Wright made those comments.

This is where Obama got part of his ideology. From sitting in Wright's church for 20 years.

Also, you can't tell me Obama never heard a sermon that was filled w/ hate. The guy was involved with his church, so he was very aware of what the church stood for. It wasn't like he went to this church only on Easter and Christmas every year.

That’s just a church where his children go.
