Breaking: Here’s what we know about Pennsylvania right now
hillbuzz ^ | 10/28/08 | hillbuzz

Posted on 10/28/2008 9:11:12 AM PDT by TruthHound

Tonight we spoke with a friend from Hillary Clinton’s campaign who is now working for McCain/Palin — and is specifically working with Democrats for McCain in Pennsylvania. We worked with her in Texas, Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania for Hillary and have spent many LONG hours with her in the trenches in all of those states. She’s smart, doesn’t BS, and never lies.

She says the same thing we do: John McCain will win Pennsylvania.

On November 4th, the news networks are going to be spinning and sputtering and playing catchup, but everything we see on the ground in PA is what we saw during the primaries: Obama has no shot of winning the Keystone State.

Here is specifically what we talked about tonight: never in any of our careers have any of us ever seen members of one party switching sides and voting for the other party as we see in this election with Democrats for McCain. There has never been anything like it. Not even the “Reagan Democrats” who voted for Reagan over Carter, for the simple fact that these “Reagan Democrats” weren’t identified and labeled until AFTER the election.

No, Democrats for McCain are real, are voting for McCain right now, and are open and organized, as well as self-identifying. Lynn Rothschild might be our poster gal, as one of the most prominent of our ranks, but it’s telling that everyone from Team Hillary that we know now works for McCain. ALL OF US. Whether they are open about it, like we are, or are working quietly behind the scenes, we can’t think of a single person we worked with on a daily basis for Hillary who is now working on behalf of Obama.

Folks, this is remarkable. If this is true Sarah’s guarantee of a victory in PA will go down as momentous as Joe Namath’s prediction that the NY Jets would win the Super Bowl.

I’d like to believe this is true, but if you actually read the entire blog post, it doesn’t sound like much more than wishful thinking.

one can only hope that there is a silent tidal wave of Dems who end up voting for the RINO and that ends up crashing onto and drowning the significance of the lame scream media and their polling friends that are trying to steer this election to Obama.

The LSM needs to be taken out.

I don’t know if I’m as confident as the friend quoted, but I can tell you there have been a lot of appearances in Pennsylvania lately. BO was in Pittsburgh yesterday. Biden acts like he lives here. Considering that he couldn’t even come close to filling a mid-sized high school gym when he came to our area, it doesn’t look like SW Pennsylvania, at least, has warmed up to him.

This would be an early Christmas gift for me, if it turns out to be true.

Folks, who do you believe? Sarah Palin or an Obama pollster.

McCain would need both PA and Ohio to make up for the loss of Virginia, in my opinion. If BO is looking like he has even a 50% chance of winning Virginia, the Goebbels News will call it for him before the polls even close.

Hah! You are right, of course -- but I'll take my daily dose of 'a friend of a friend heard McCain is going to win' as a nice placebo to counteract the 'Obama ahead by 20%' polls I hear from the MSM (aka, Propaganda Ministry of the DNC)...

One more week.

If it’s close and a few hard-working PUMAs turn out to have delivered PA for McCain’s victory, we’ll all have to write a nice thaank-you note for the gift.

You are beginning to see the signs of low level panic in the media. Stories of “concern” over PA and how they should feel comfortable but don’t. Then you have the Udall’s campaign in CO sweating the mail in early vote returns as the Dems aren’t sending them back in at expected levels (note CO Reps have incredible GOTV and a 30K eligible election day voter advantage).

I would note that here in Georgia, we are getting ton of senatorial ads, but the Glut of Obama ads we had a couple weeks ago has disappeared.

Also, he has Hillary up in NH and Michelle My Belle in NM. States that should be sewn up with these huge national leads.

Then you have the anti Dem remarks from noted clinton supporter Linda Bloodworth Thomason out in Hollywierd.
