No Plant, no Zep.
Good grief.

No... they can never be again... any more than the Beatles... they are gone forever but for recordings.
They may use the name but the magic can never be captured again.

Without Plant?
Blasphemy. But then again, they are a part of history, not the present.

Led Zep without Robert Plant is not Led Zep. Period. Sorry.Totally agree. If they want to go for another band name without R. Plant it would work much better. And Jason Bonham is not his father! He's a good, solid original drummer, but doesn't at all have the nuance his father did.
All I can say is good luck Jimmy, John, and Jason.

LOL, I wouldn’t go quite that far. The day John Bonham died in 1980 is one of those “where were you when...” moments. A very sad day at my school.

I’ve listened to the Waterboys’ version of that song a thousand times and never realized it was a Terry Reid song.

With or without Stewart? With Rod Stewart. It was a great set. They were the opening act for Big Brother & the Holding Company, with Janis. Boy those were the days, musically.
To: Straight Vermonter
Actually, "Whole of The Moon" is a Mike Scott (Waterboys) song, but I sure enjoy Terry's cover and think it one of his best "Pop" efforts. Mike almost "talks" the lyrics, whereas Terry belts 'em out melodically, imho. I've always wished Joe Cocker would cover it.
