They should get Terry Reid.
The ORIGINAL choice for lead singer back in 1968, who STILL has a great voice and still makes music.

Here's a totally left field idea. . .
What's Reg Presley of the Troggs doing? :-)
His deadpan delivery over Zep's thunder - could be intriguing. The Troggs single "Feels Like a Woman" (produced by Roger Bain), put ol' Reg in front of a Sabbath-like backing track and it was killer.
Yep, time to get back on the meds.

Another great band prostitutes themselves. I could not believe that The Who continued on after John Entwistle’s death. It was obvious that the heart of The Who died with Keith Moon. I think the same can be said for Led Zep/Bonham.
Daltrey/Townshend even described themselves as a cover band for The Who.

I’ve never understood that either, I guess it’s all for the money but have some courage and respect and make up another band name. I can’t believe one person would go see them without Robert, how sad.

The two concerts I saw of them, in 1995 and 1998, were two of the best I have ever been to.
And their two albums, esp the MTV Unplugged album, were brilliant.

And 2006’s ‘Endless Wire’ is an excellent album.

I absolutely agree scottsman, Terry would be the perfect choice, but he turned them down forty years ago. Maybe he has more artistic integrety than lust for money and fame. Terry walks with the dinasaurs, but he refuses to sell-out and be one.

I remember from “Hammer of the Gods” that Rod Stewart was one of those they wanted as the lead singer but he said no.
