For some reason I can’t explain I am feeling calm about the election. I think, after all is said and done, that many officially identified Democrats who are PUMAs, Operation Chaos operatives or moderate Democrats won’t pull the lever for the extreme left wing of the Dem Party. My only hope is that no one relaxes after the election. That we hold McCain’s feet to the fire, that we put up credible opponents to the likes of Reid, Pelosi, and the various RINOs, and that we take back our education system and reform history and civics education to reflect American exceptionalism.
I agree, but I find I can’t post what I really want to say. This country is not the country I knew. Sound familiar? G-d save this REPUBLIC!
If Obama wins, I'm heading down to the Mercedes dealer and order an S65AMG. I will be able to afford it because I'll use the Redistribution check for down payment and sub-prime, 0 interest, with 5 year delayed payments financing for the balance ;-)

Why is there “early voting”? I always thougt that there was voting on the day of the election and absentee, and nothing else. Why are some states allowing this and other states can’t. Do I have stupid written all over me? This is bs. Vote on November 4 or absentee and be done with it. What candidate is this bs favoring? DUH!
That’s quite a list there, but why not go for broke? Still, while I agree that the bankruptcy laws have been abused, I’m not in favor of the return of debtor prisons and you would need to amend the Constitution to do so, I believe. There needs to be consequences to poor decisions and we have been very, very bad about not linking rights and duties lately. We have been rewarding bad behavior and punishing good behavior and that needs to stop. Obama is all about rewarding bad behavior but McCain seems a little weak-kneed about imposing some consequences and expectations on people.
