I'm sure you've heard of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN).
But what you probably haven't heard is that a lot of its workers have been getting indicted and pleading guilty on felony charges related to fraudulent voter registrations.
Voter registration fraud is the usual charge, and it's a felony. Others have been charged with perjury, forgery and identity theft in relation to these fraudulent voter registration cards.
Twenty-six workers have been charged or convicted, almost all on felony charges. Thousands and thousands of fraudulent voter registrations have been identified, and there may be thousands more.
What's worse is that they're spread from coast to coast: six different states. The names of the states read like a Who's Who of the key battleground states.
In Missouri, 11 ACORN workers have pled guilty to felonies and a 12th is awaiting trial.
In Washington state, seven more ACORN workers have been indicted on felony charges and five have pled guilty.
In Colorado, two more ACORN workers pled guilty to misdemeanor charges and were sentenced to community service.
In Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, there have been more indictments.
Thousands more of these fraudulent voter registration cards have turned up in Florida, Nevada, Wisconsin, Virginia and Minnesota, causing those state authorities to start investigations of their own.
And now the feds are getting into it. The FBI has raided ACORN offices and is trying to determine whether ACORN has enabled a nationwide network of voter registration fraud.
ACORN could be laying the groundwork to steal this election. In those battleground states, just a few hundred votes can make the difference between victory and defeat for Obama. Florida was decided by just 527 votes eight years ago.
Now think about how much we've heard about the Diebold voting machines, and how they might be used to alter the results of an election. But no one has ever been charged, let alone convicted of any crime in connection with Diebold voting machines.
I've been watching Chicago politics, with alternating feelings of amazement and disgust, for a very long time. This is how Mayor Richard Daley's Democratic political machine stole the 1960 election from Richard Nixon and handed a victory to Kennedy that was not earned.
In statewide vote tabulations on Election Night, all the downstate counties reported their totals first. The excuse given by Cook County (Chicago) was that they had a lot more votes to count. But here's what they were really doing: they were waiting to see how many extra Democrat ballots they had to stuff into the ballot boxes to give Kennedy the win.
You will notice a pattern in the fraudulent ACORN registrations if you look closely. King County, Washington (home of the state's largest city and Democratic stronghold, Seattle). Cuyahoga County, Ohio (home of one of the state's largest cities and another Democratic stronghold, Cleveland). In Wisconsin, it's Milwaukee. Pennsylvania? Philadelphia.
In every state, they are trying to duplicate the conditions that existed in Chicago on Election Night 1960, where the Daley Democratic machine had thousands of voter registrations ready to go, for voters who hadn't cast genuine ballots during the day. Democratic election workers stuffed the ballot boxes late in the evening on Election Night, when all the other counties in the state had already reported their totals.
The fact that the FBI has started a nationwide investigation into ACORN's activities and raided several of its offices was, for many days, not reported in the American media. Instead, I had to find it in a reliable British newspaper, "The Daily Telegraph."
So you have to look in a British newspaper to read about an FBI investigation in the United States? Isn't that strange? Can anybody tell me why that is?
Here's another interesting tidbit.
Barack Obama was the leader of a voter registration drive for one of ACORN's affiliated organizations, Project Vote, in 1992. He has taught an annual leadership seminar for ACORN ever since.
It's a regional effort. Think about that.
ACORN workers from the Midwest and Great Lakes region would travel to Chicago every year to hear Obama give his seminars on leadership. Then they went home to St. Louis, Kansas City, Columbus, Detroit and ... they got indicted and pled guilty to voter registration fraud?
And others would go home from Obama's ACORN seminars to Minnesota and Wisconsin, and ... more and more stacks of these fraudulent voter registrations turned up in Minnesota and Wisconsin?
What was their trainer, Barack Obama, training them to do in those ACORN leadership seminars?
Ping
Tammany Hall has spread — it never went away — we just call it by other names, like, ACORN.....
One word. YES!!!!
Those two appear to be the only misdemeanor cases on the whole list. The other 24 are felonies.

Illinois by itself wasn’t enough to give Kennedy the election in 1960 (not enough electoral votes), but Kennedy won Texas by fewer than 47,000 votes, and it’s a safe bet that there was a lot of voter fraud going on in parts of Texas. That’s how LBJ got into the Senate to begin with back in 1948.

Thanks for the ping Philo!
