I think George Washington had visions and was devinely inspired. Just my opinion. He was such a great man and I have always admired him. See the movie John Adams. According to John Adams, GW did not speak much but when he did open his mouth, the words were priceless and full of wisdom.

If he were alive today, he would be dismayed.

I think most that have passed would be dismayed. My father fought in WWII in a B-24 and received the DFC and passed on a few years back on Memorial Day. He often relayed he didn't fight the Germans just to kill babies in the womb, burn the flag, and watch homo's get married.
