Unbelieveable - I'm right on the migration route of the Husdonian Godwit (a relative of the above), that migrates from Hudson Bay to southern Argentina.

A mind-boggling trip. If the bird flew an altitude where she had a tailwind of 100 mph or more, she might have had an actual ground speed of 150 mph or even more for portions of the flight.
