A simple way

- All registrations end 45 days before election
- Absentee ballots must be mailed 45 days before election
- No early voting. One day only
- State/Fed. ID required for each registrant
- Ink applied to fingers

I agree, except that absentee voting should be even more restrictive. ONLY the military and government contractors working overseas should be able to place an absentee ballot.

What about biometric voting and a national fingerprint database. That would allow each user to only vote once and you could vote any polling place and have you vote count only in the district that you were registered. Imagine all the productivity we would save
