George Lakoff is one of Obama's speechwriters and consultants. He is also professor of linguistics and cogitative sciences at Berkley. He is an expert and author on an communication manipulation technique known as Neuro Linguistic Programming- basically controlling the perceptions and thoughts of other through communication techniques. This is a ping follow up to some conversations I've had with others.

Ping, into the mind of one of Obama’s puppet masters- the one controlling his speech.

Thanks for posting. Some things are starting to make more sense. I’m praying somehow some of this will be exposed.

Seldom have so many words been used to say so little. All these “isms” and made up words make this sound intellectual. When people hear such ramblings, or worse read them, their eyes glaze over, which is the point because then they are in a receptive state. But there is never really anything concrete. “CARE” is used as a vague word in typical NLP fashion.

The author says:
the book proposes an alternative way of thinking about foreign policy under which all these issues would become a natural part of what foreign policy is about. The premise is that, when international relations work smoothly, it is because certain moral norms of the international community are being followed. This mostly goes unnoticed, since those norms are usually followed. We notice problems when those norms are breached. Given this, it makes sense that foreign policy should be centered around those norms.

This means NOTHING! “certain norms are being followed”...CERTAIN is a typical NLP word and then the passive tense...”are being followed” (by whom?)

I have summarized in a simple form the basic NLP techniques and would be glad to either post it on this thread or send it to anyone privately.
