So, what was the question? What did he axe his agent?
Spike to agent: "You're gonna hide these totals from Clint Eastwood.....RIGHT????"
Tell you what Spike - you keep on making anti-American crap and we’ll keep on not watching it. Deal?
Spike has been a race-baiter for his entire lackluster career. Liberal Hollywood will continue to fund his awful movies because they’re afraid not to. (I did like 25th Hour — the only one, maybe because race was not the overriding issue.)
Spike ... ya can’t blame your agent for your own dismal failures.
Grosses 7.5m and cost 45m. Ouch.
Won't pay to see it, but may get it via Netflix if it sounds decent.
It's funny how perspectives change, when Sneakers first came out, I was in the military, relatively young, and liked the spy stuff. I thought it was funny and kept a decent pace. I was a conservative at that point, but didn't really pay close attention to politics in general. That changed with Clinton.
Rented it again via Netflix a few weeks ago and about choked on the anti-american, anti-republican, pro-socialism crap in it.
Hollywood’s favorite racist.
The problem is Spike. I had to walk out of one of his films, so racist and even blasphemous it was. Maybe there was a context to it, I’ll never know, once it got to a certain point I was up and out.
So I won’t risk another one unless someone assures me its worth seeing. Spike’s problem is Spike.
The fact that Lee’s films don’t make money is one reason to love the free market.
He can always make propaganda films for Obama.
