Hitler looked mighty good after a horrible German leadership...I don't blame these uninformed voters backing Obama....McCain and his supporters don't get HIS message out well at all

“will be more than off set by the carbon tax that Obama plans to implement.”

Yeah but sadly didn't the “green bug” bite McCain too?

"...Scott’s results have been pretty consistent over the last 3 weeks.."

But have they been right?

Hannity: "Let me ask you this, you had a poll back a while ago, and many of your people believed that Reagan was right. Politicians should focus on economic growth, and not re-distribution of wealth."

Rasmussen: "Barack Obama gave an answer that has become a sound-bite."

Hannity: "Yeah, but he's planning to raise taxes, corporate gains taxes, windfall tax... and the consumer is going to end up getting the tax. If you tax the evil rich people, the regular folks will eat out less, not buy the luxury items, boats, fur coats and so on."

Rasmussen: "What's happening is that Barack Obama is running a great campaign, and his advertising is not focusing on the tax programs."

I need that verbatim transcript.

If anyone can provide direct quotes, that would be helpful.

There may not be an honest pollster in the media but I would like to take a gander at the DNC’s own internal polls, the ones that have them stalinist-scared that they are going to lose AGAIN.

The national public polls have been skewed with 57/43 Democrat/Republican poll samples. And even with the finger on the scale, they can’t swing the numbers.

So what are the raw numbers that the Democrats are looking at before the cooked books go public? Who do they contract with? Who do they trust? And what are the numbers?

Again, I just cannot believe that these pollsters expect me to believe their data when they are openly representing Barack Obama.

Makes you wonder what the people polled were asked/told.

"Do you support Obama's self-proclaimed marxist scheme to redistribute the wealth?"

"Do you agree that the rich are not paying their fair share of the tax burden in this country, as Senator Obama has ventured?

"Do you believe that McCain is resitant to change that would upset his buddies in big oil?"

Look at the way the Left ABSOLUTELY refused to be critical of Bill Clinton or acknowledge any of his personal failings. Even when he lied to them on national television and wagged his finger at his critics (who were right).

The left LIES. They shield the right from their doubts/fears/and disgust. They don’t even discuss it among fellow travellers (they don’t want to be accused of turning on the Party or being accused of conservativism in a moment of weakness).

George Orwell saw the same thing among the Stalinsts in the West (and Pete Seeger was one, it took him 40 years to concede that Stalin had done some horrible things to humanity).

Are they hypnotized? Zombies? It is 50 years of focusing on the material world and putting party before country or God. It IS their religion and their driving force in this world. It would be devistating to them to admit that they’ve been following a fraud and a crook.

The New Left has run the DNC since the riots of 1968. The Weather Underground was established to riot at the trial of the Chicago 7 in 1969. Ayers bombed the Pentagon in 1972. And he personally groomed Barack Obama politically decades later. Howard Dean, John Kerry, et al. They are on the same page politically.

You are looking at the verge of a Socialist revolution. The shackles clamped around our necks will not be cast off for generations.

And the world salivates. Too many despots were stopped in their tracks by American might. Too many underclass saw the US as a beacon of hope in the world. They are here to snuff out the candle of personal liberty and join the world in embracing socialism.

Sam Donaldson has likened it to 9-11 in that we have turned a corner in American history and only the foolish still fight against it.

It’s not going to help you much. Your portrayal of the Rasmussen being in the tank for Messiah is not reality based upon the interview I saw.

Read post #17. That’s the truth.

I think Rasmussen has been pretty non-committal on opinion questions, while at the same time, clearly stating he thinks Obama is the favorite. Whether he is or not is questionable. Unfortunately, the lousy economy has made this a lot more unpredictable than it might have been.

I still think all the polls are all crap, and we shouldn’t pay too much attention to them. Rasmussen’s poll is actually more favorable to McCain than most.

When all is said and done, I think McCain will outdo the polls (what GOP candidate doesn’t), and I’m hopeful that he can still win this thing.

McCain was talking green before the economy tanked, now he says that he wouldn’t raise taxes on anyone. Obama says that he’s going to do it through the EPA if congress refuses to pass the tax.

Interesting.

I guess pollsters are people and can have positions too. But it kind of brings his polls into doubt.

That we re close at all is totally thanks to Sean and his relentless exposing of the truth about Obama.

No one else comes near to his efforts, NO ONE.

BS...

If Rasmussen wants to be considered objective, he won't relegate a conversation between two people to "a sound byte." Rasmussen was downplaying the conversation between Joe The Plumber and Obama by relegating it to the status of "sound byte."

If Rasmussen wants to be considered objective, he should refrain from saying things like "Barack Obama is running a great campaign," while saying nothing of the FACT that Governor Palin is drawing crowds into the thousands.

Your assessment of the interview is different from mine.

There should be a hugh tax increase on Hollywood stars .. no need for them to make $10M, $20M, $40M per pic. Especially since most of the pix stink. They should be taxed 90% of everything over $100,000 in a year. And, they should love it. Show they’re patriotic after all!!!!
