from the linked article:

"An Omaha charitable foundation had announced it was pulling all of its contributions to the university. Several other donors also have indicated to university fundraisers that there could be a financial cost if Ayers speaks.

And Nebraskans by the hundreds continued to register their opposition with university administrators and others, lighting up phone lines and filling e-mail boxes.

Heineman said Ayers' invitation was "an embarrassment" to the state and that it goes beyond the bounds of the university's mission.

"Our citizens are clearly outraged and want action," Heineman said in an interview. "This is their university. This isn't even a close call. The university should immediately rescind the invitation."

I believe it was more “concern for the safety of” this public university’s budget, what with the governor questioning the invitation to this unrepetant terrorist and I’m certain many in the Neb. legislature wondering why state funds (and facilities) should be made available to provide a forum for such a hateful creature. Nothing like cutting off the state money spigot to get the attention of academics; if they don’t get taxpayer funds, they might have to go and work for a living.

Well, I’m against vigilante violence. Really. But this fake Indian (whoops, wrong radical) still owes America big-time.

Nebraska Gov. Dave Heineman was just on Greta’s program on FOX. Always good to see Ayers exposed

Good for Nebraska! I’m very proud of the citizens who spoke out!

Great news!! As a Husker Alum I sent an email yesterday on this to the Alumni Association.

The reply sounded nervous, almost as though I would rescind my membership: “Thank you for your comments. While I remain hopeful that our alumni will not let their opinion of one speaker erase their allegiance to a fine university with almost 140 years of accomplishments, I do understand your viewpoint. The Alumni Association will make sure the Chancellor¹s Office and the College of Education and Human Sciences are aware of your concerns.”

My hope is that Ayer’s gravy train will be derailed.

What a fn disgrace. Notice this story leaves out some interesting information, such as, whose idea at the university it was to invite him, how much he was going to be paid, and who was bankrolling it if we are to believe it was “privately” funded. Universities, and especially the liberal arts departments, are so lacking in judgment and common sense that it is a wonder the “professors” know enough to come in out of the rain.

Could be the university’s way of saving face and limiting their exposure, too.

Maybe having an unrepentant terrorist, who’s wife knows how to build bombs, speak is a bit of a safety issue.

REMEMBER that this HTEFILLD, UNREPETANT TERRORIST, WILLIAM AYERS, Has WORKED Very Closely With OSAMA OBAMA HUSSEIN FOR YEARS, INSPITE OF OBAMA’S LIES TO THE CONTRARY! Jack Cashill irtually proves beyond a shadow of doubt that Obama was incapable of writing his alleged book, “DREAMS FROM MY FATHER!” In fact, Jack proves that William Ayers most surely GHOSTWROTE “DREAMS FROM MY FATHER!” Jack has done this thru his analysis of the writing styles, languages, phraseologies, vocabularies and writing sample comparisons.
That was in/around 1995 about the time that Ayers introduced Obama to the political circles in his Living Rom Gettogether. Of interest Obama transferred to Columbia in NYC from Oxi in LA in 1981. Ayers just happened to be going to school only two blocks away in NYC at the same time. Quite possibly, Obama and Ayers and their relationship may have developed from that time on. Upon Obama’s graduation, he shortly relocated to Chicago to be a Community Organizer, the same occupation as Ayers and to live in the same neighborhoods. Later, its known that Ayers hired Obama to be the Chairman of Ayer’s new creation, the Multi-Million dollar WOODS FOUNDTION!They would work closely there for several years awarding Millions of Dollars to Endeavors acceptable to their Agendas. With all of these associations, it is EXTREMELY HARD TO BELIEVE OBAMA’S STORY THAT THEY BARELY KNEW EACH OTHER IN PASSING BEACAUSE THEIR KIDS WENT TO THE SAME SCHOOLS!( A PATENT LIE SINCE THE AYERS KIDS ARE IN THEIR TWENTIES!)!!!!!!
OBAMA HUSSEIN APPEARS TO BE TERRIBLE LIAR!!

A 60’s radical?

Is that how we are describing unrepentant Communist Revolutionary Terrorists these days?

“Tune in turn on drop out” Timothy Leary was a 60’s radical.

William Ayers was and is a Communist revolutionary terrorist.

Oh sure, they want to make it sound like threats against his life were being made, but in actuality, it was because people were threatening to withdraw funds.

University officials cited "safety reasons" for canceling Ayers' Nov. 15 appearance.

Afraid he'll blow up the chemistry building?
