Sounds like high-altitude weather balloons to me also. I saw the same thing last Summer - 2 white objects very very high moving across the sky rather slowly following the same path. One appeared round, the other more tear-drop. Both appeared about 2 or 3-times bigger than the period here( . )

I've seen the balloons myself. This was different. I don't know what they were, I just know that they are outside my life experience and knowledge.
