Georgia back in play? Lying local drive-by media. (vanity)

Posted on 10/16/2008 6:01:16 PM PDT by tpanther

I'm nearly falling out of my chair with the local drive-bys. They claim Obama is no longer giving up on Georgia (again) and therefore Georgia is "back in play"!!!

Just my own personal observations, meanwhile I've seen more than ever McCain/Palin stickers and signs IN Atlanta these last few days.

Then they had a story about the John Lewis racism...and they had a black guy standing in line (I think to vote) or something, saying that shouldn't have even been brought up by McCain because Obama didn't say it, Lewis did; essentially brushing it off.

Meanwhile I'm screaming at the TV had David Duke said something remotely out of line this very same individual would be DEMANDING McCain denounce Duke!

On a high note, I was at work walking into an assisted living and a black man walked into the faciltiy with a pink shirt. I made out in white letters "McCain, Palin" and watched him hand it to a younger black girl/employee inside the lobby.

I must admit this kind of took me off guard because I continue to hear 95% plus blacks are for Obama.

MUST have been the very rare 5% I was observing?

Anyway, just because Obama is spending more money here or opening offices here or something does not mean Georgia is "back in play"...how irresponsbile and blatantly biased can the media possibly be? What would the media say if McCain opened an office in upstate NY, this suddenly meant NY was "back in play"?????

And now I'm watching O'Reilly being the idiot he always is. Talking about the fat lady singing.

I hope and pray the American people can see through the media..and I'm steamed about FOX...all I can think is they're being spineless and afraid he'll win so they have to sing a different tune because of the UNfairness doctrine.

Laura Ingraham isn't folding the tent but BO sure is! UNsurprisingly.

THIS is a day Laura should have filled in for the NO SPIN ZONE cause BOR is just AWFUL!

I feel a need to e-mail FOX in general to tell them they're very disappointing and morphing into the drive-bys right before my very eyes. I heard Rush Limbaugh was pained about his friend Roger Ailes and this FOX tent folding...and how idiots like Fred Barnes were championing the Maverick during the primaries even though he wasn't conservative and could win because he reaches across the aisle, and now they throw the very same man under the bus and calling the election over after he clearly "won" an election he couldn't be too angry at or come off as "angry and bitter", some 3 weeks before the election!?

Now Megyn Kelly is at least steamed about the ACORN fraud and the Ohio hypocrat saying she can't or won't investigate ACORN fraud.

I couldn't believe the ACORN statment that this is just a Republican tactic to suppress voeter turnout. Well yes I can.

Ummmm well yeah...we don't allow Mickey Mouse to vote, one man 72 votes, dead people to vote...pets...OF COURSE the Republican party wants to suppress those votes YOU IDIOTS! You don't think they're voting for McCain after all!

THANKS FReepers for letting me rant!

I guess my advice is to treat EVERY state as a battle ground because of ACORN and the media!

Crush ALL these frauds on Nov. 4th!

I commute in Georgia, approximately 80 miles per day. Bumper sticker watch: McCain 7, Obama 2. Yard sign watch: McCain 10, Obama ZERO.

Looks like Georgia's in play to me!

THANKS! I’ll do it. McCain was like my 5th choice on a list of 4. But America may not survive the ObamaNation!

This is just an attempt to get McCain to waste money in Georgia. It may not go as red as last time but it will be blood red come election time.

I noticed the same thing here in Georgia - not one Obama yard sign, however, one of my customers walked in with a giant Obama face T-shirt. I've seen some McCain-Palin T-shirts around town. Georgia will certainly go for McCain.

Even the liberal POS site 538 has McCain up by 6pts in GA and THAT means the RATS have no chance there.

Back in August, the blacks in Punta Cana (the Dominican Republic) were backing McCain. They couldn't believe that the US would elect someone without the life experience needed to run a country.

Plus, they were worried that Americans won't have money to take Caribbean vacations under Obama.

Just drove from Orlando to Boston. Unofficial bumper sticker watch was about 20 - 1 for McCain-Palin.

The ONLY area where I saw Barack Hussein Obama stickers predominate was around the Washington beltway.

Heck, even in the one area I’ve been to in Mass. the yard signs are about even between McCain and Osama.

The southern end of the state is all McCain except for the inner city of Savannah. The suburbs are McCain all the way. The country folks, too. Obama ain’t goin’ nowhere down here.

I think Alabama is up for grabs too. I’ve seen 5 yard signs for Obama and 3 bumper stickers. I’ve only seen one bumper sticker for McCain/Palin (mine).

Sweet.
Hubby and I had a VERY pleasant surprise coming home from work yesterday. We were approaching the turnoff to our street and there in the yard in front of us,on a corner lot,was a HUGE McCain/Palin sign!! The person or persons went through the trouble of using PVC pipe and wire ties to carefully construct it.It’s probably about 6 feet wide and 7 feet high!
We both cheered!
I’ve counted one, maybe two NObama signs on my street, and, counting my McCain sign, there are maybe 3 or 4 of those. Most folks aren’t putting signs out here.Almost no buperstickers, but the ones I have seen are McCain/Palin.

I’m in Virginia, and GOPTRUNK.COM is where I got my yard sign from. I’d like to have gotten a banner or a bigger sign but times are pretty tough for us and you do what you can.....i’m proud of my little yard sign! I have it front and center in my yard. There’s one small sign in one yard on my street that has american flags flanking it. Nice touch. Thanks to JeffHead.com, I also have my bumperstickers on my car. I have an hour’s commute to and from each day and the McCain/Palin stickers outnimber NObama’s easily ten to one. They’re popping up everywhere! I love it!
