RIP, Edie.

She was great, back in the day, when TV comedy was mildly risque, but very very funny.

Ernie Kovacs was a genius of comedy.

Never again will we see the likes.

I'll never forget how she talked about how much Ernie Loved her and took care of her and how much she loved him

This night they will sleep together, and I am happy for them, now and forever together at peace in the arms of the Lord.....

>>She is survived by her son, Joshua Mills. Daughter Mia Kovacs was killed at 22 in a 1982 car accident.<<

Wow, I didn’t know that.

I just loved that program. The Nairobi Trio was my favorite....it always brought some belly laughs.

Type "Nairobi Trio Video" on Yahoo search for some old-fashioned yuks.

RIP, Edie.

How sad for Edie, she lost both husband and daughter in separate auto accidents..

In the Seventies, she expanded into opera. I saw her in Seattle in “Cosi fan tutte” and “La perichole”.

She worked hard to clear Kovac’s trouble with the IRS and to save as much of the tapes and kinescopes that she could.
