I'd have liked to see a picture of Yale's coach, Ducky Pond.

Good catch. That is a very important detail I missed.

Interesting side-note: one of Ducky Pond's assistant coaches for the game reported here was none other that Gerald Ford! Ford coached at Yale for four seasons, 1937-40.
