There’s a cure for everything mice may have. Too true. They must've found more than 20 ways to cure Type I diabetes in mice.... none of which seem to have worked on humans.

There’s a cure for everything mice may have.You have to have proof of principle in mammals before you experiment in humans. This is just getting an understanding of type 1 diabetes. Alpha1-antitrypsin therapy would most likely have to be by intravenous administration, which isn't very convenient.
