Brown 4-6 pork chops (with the bone in, if possible), put ‘em in a slow cooker with a few sliced onions, a can of cream of mushroom soup & a can of cream of chicken soup ( both undiluted ). Cook on low for 12 hrs. or on high 8 hrs.& serve over rice. Cheap, easy and tasty!

You can also put in some garlic, taters, and a dash of oregano. Even yummier. :)

In large skillet, 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup (undiluted), one tin salmon, one cup frozen peas. Mix together and heat over medium-low until warmed thru. Serve over hot buttered toast with plenty of fresh ground black pepper.
(My hockey-Mom used to make that for my brother and me...)

Mom's Kapusta Portions of ingredients can be altered. Nothing is critical.
- Cube, then pan fry 1/2 lb of salt pork. Put in large pot along with drippings.
- Add 1 large can sauerkraut, including all liquid in the can.
- Add 1 large head of cabbage, shredded
- Add 2 to 4 lbs of fresh, boneless pork, cut in 1 to 2" pieces. Please use a very cheap and fat cut of pork, such as pork butt. The fatter the better! Marbled pork is the secret here! Don't go lean, or it will be mean!
Simmer on stovetop for 2 hours. Stir occasionally.
- Add 1 large kelbasa, cut in thick slices (about 1/2")
Simmer 1 more hour.
Serve with a nice hot horseradish along with rye bread and butter.
