With Newman hurt who is going to cover the other team's receivers?

Mike Jenkins (rookie first round draft pick) and Orlando Scandrick (rookie fourth or fifth round pick who has played well so far). But yeah, without Pacman or Newman, it's starting to get a bit thin in the secondary. Newman is should be able to return after this Sunday's game aganst the Rams (next week is a bye week).

Perhaps a Roy Williams as coach?

Wrong sport. :)

I know he’s basketball, but I just had to throw him in there.

Yes. The T.O. meltdown. I recognize that it is highly possible. Hell, he’s not exactly an emotional rock anyway, and more importantly, this is a future play by the Cowboys...what has Owens got left— another productive yr?

However, Roy could free up Owens deep whereas defenders are able to double him now. They can’t even consider doing this or RW will eat them up. Having to make a choice, they are more likely to dbl up RW, leaving Owens running past defenders down field. Now Dallas needs Romo to actually complete that play(BJ has about a 30 yd effective range) but look for Romo prior to his projected 1 mo absence.

No question that Williams adds to your team, but now we will see if the emotional outbursts by T.O. were about winning or about him not getting the attention he needs.

The media attention is now going to be on Williams, not T.O. and I don't think T.O. is going to accept that.

I have no doubt that Romo will be back early, probably in 2 weeks.

Given how cruddy the offensive line is nobody needs to cover Dallas’ receivers deep, by the time they get deep Johnson is going to be on his butt.

And this doesn’t do anything about their defense that’s been cruddy all season. This really does nothing but squander draft picks.

As a Dallas fan, this is the first good news this week! Well, this and the Vagiants getting spanked by (of all teams) the Browns.

Anyone who thinks they know how this NFL season will turn out is full of it. The NFC East was crowned best division and they lost this past Sunday to AZ, Stl, and Clev. Ha!

I like the Roy W pickup. He actually does some things better than TO, like catch the fade and go up high. That said, if the O-line doesn't start earning their money there won't be time to throw to anyone but the checkoff RB.

Link Finally Up From ESPN

Cowboys acquire Williams from Lions

This really takes the sting out of the PacRat debacle..he'll soon be forgotten. Don't forget Dallas gets a 5th rd pick back from Tenn and don't have to give up a 6th to Tenn now.

Go Cowboys!

I smell championship.

Championship? Hey, the cowgirls haven't won a playoff game in 12 years.

The majestic romeo couldn't handle a snap for a 3 yard field goal against the seahawks a few years ago.

Last year, during their bye week during the playoffs, romeo takes some bimbo on vacation, instead of watching film and/or working with his receivers.

The cowgirls have talent, but they have as much football heart as the cinncy bungles.

A Stiller fan.

Ed Werder now says a 1st, 3rd, and a 6th.

Dallas is 4-2, what's that going to give Detroit~36th, 38th and 41st picks?
