The Beatles broke up because John and Paul (and Yoko).

Ringo left the band during The White Album (he did manage to get 2 songs on there because it was a double album but other than that, everyone was encouraged to “cut loose” and “experiment” except him). Must have been a rotten feeling to have to endure the decision to let Revolution 9 go ON there (and ALMOST Mary Jane Had A Pain At The Party) and being told that NOPE, there’s no room for you to do something else too.

Pretty Things are touring too. Promoting the 40th Anniversary of S.F.Sorrow (even though it was recorded at Abbey Road the same time the Beatles were recording Sgt. Pepper).

I also found this myspace page (and judging from other comments I've found from the band)... they don't sound 'appy about the way things are in England now...
