Pretty Things are touring too. Promoting the 40th Anniversary of S.F.Sorrow (even though it was recorded at Abbey Road the same time the Beatles were recording Sgt. Pepper).

These guys keep the updates on the Pretty Things with their annual to to semi-annual magazine:

I also found this myspace page (and judging from other comments I've found from the band)... they don't sound 'appy about the way things are in England now...

40 years on from the 1st Summer of Love’s hopes for a better world of truth, freedom, peace and love, our dreams have turned into a nightmare. “Big Brother” (not the strange collection of irrelevant adults, who all live in the same house…) controls, polices, taxes, monitors & mistrusts every move we make and spies on us from dawn to dusk. Our passports, our movements, our inheritances, our wages, our choices, our banking, our cars, & even our personal habits…. are ALL under the total control of “government”. The trains don’t work, but you can’t drive anywhere…. Wanna see the Queen? Gotta pay boy…. Gimme your money! And now, a last quiet ciggie in the pub is FORBIDDEN!!! By “Big Brother”. WE CAN CHANGE THIS – YOU’RE NOT POWERLESS – MAKE YOUR FEELINGS CLEAR, MAKE YOUR PRESENCE FELT AND MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE – BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE. JOIN THE PROTEST AGAINST CONTROL AND PUT YOUR NAME TO ALL LIGHT UP – ADD YOUR EMAIL TO THE PETITION AND LET’S FORCE A CHANGE …. “ALL LIGHT UP” – STANDS FOR FREEDOM.
