The Beatles drummer Ringo Starr has ordered his fans to stop sending him fanmail.
The drummer says he's got "too much to do" and warns he'll throw any fanmail in the bin after October 20 in a video posted on his website.
"This is a serious message to everybody watching," Starr says in the clip.
"I want to tell you that after the 20th of October please do not send any fanmail to any address you have. If that is the date on the envelope, it's gonna be tossed.
"I'm warning you with peace and love, I have too much to do. So no more fanmail. Thank you. No more objects to be signed. Nothing."
It's not clear whether the wealth of fanmail was trigger by 'Brush With Greatness', the 1991 episode of 'The Simpsons' Starr appeared in where he vows to answer every bit of post he recieved from fans, including answering Marge Simpson's question that "Yes, in England we do have French Fries, but we call them chips!"
** Or, as they say at ACORN, “I’ll bust your head with hope and change.” **
LOL!
I'm not a fan of the post-Beatles Paul McCartney, but Paul had much more financial success (even with the costly divorce) than either George or Ringo had. George probably had more critical acclaim than Paul (and, of course, Ringo), however. Ringo places third in both dimensions. I exclude John from the comparisons because his post-Beatles career was so much shorter than the others’.
Paul invested in the the publishing rights of Buddy Holly’s catalog (and other famous songs).
Doin' the Indian Casino circuit...
He appeared at a near-by theater several times to a sold out crowd. My brother-in-law liked it so much that he went again the following year. Maybe if Ringo wants to be left alone, he should stop touring with his band.

Lol, their version of ‘peace and love’.
Thanks Meek. I would love to have that jacket she’s wearing!
.
Sequins?
It’s red corduroy with blue embroidery I believe. I like it.
