I’m not demoralized either. I’m mad as heck though, at the media.
This wasn’t the media trying to demoralize us, this was John McCain himself.
He said it, he surrendered. You can’t blame the media for this one.
Of course, voting against Hussein is not the issue here.
It is McCain’s (and Republicans in general) throwing us under the bus for good press.
If McCain bails on Sarah, he’s McGovern-region toast. 350 electoral votes down, easily.
On the contrary,McCain keeps throwing out warning signs of his socialist tendencies and yet people are willing to blindly follow him down the path of increased socialism. You can’t counteract a socialist from one party by supporting one from another party.
Instead of surrender, how about humor?

McCain is certainly not helping himself by sticking up for Obama at the GOP rallies.
See, McCain could have just said that we need to remain respectful.
I think that was a necessary statement in light of the media meme that McCain was allowing his crowds to get riled up out of hand.
But in classic McCain fashion, he took it too far. Way too far.
He said we shouldn’t be afraid of an 0bama presidency.
F*** YOU McCain! I’m scared as hell of an 0bama presidency, and that’s the only reason why I’m voting for you!
We’re on the verge of a socialist revolution in this country, and McCain is telling us we have nothing to fear from them.
I voted one week ago here in Georgia.
I know McCain-Palin have at least one vote for sure.
This should draw all the weak kneed defeatists and stealth trolls like flies to honey!
“This is the end! Sarah is toast! What will we do? I'm so scared!”
Waa-waa-waa! I'm embarrassed to see this whiny crap all over FreeRepublic!
Suck it up people! Bunch of pansies!!!
I’m not demoralized, and I’m not wobbly. I’m just pissed.
I’ll still vote for McCain, in spite of him. The media, and everything about this election year has been reprehensible.
Wobbly? Heck, NO! I am mad and determined to see McCain/Palin elected........hell hath no fury like the pubbie base.........
Is there ever a good time to go wobbly? ;)
This is the right attitude. Right now the only thing keeping me sane is FR and Sarah.
Now that being said, the case is always made that the person we vote for has to give us a reason to vote for them and not just against the other guy. But like our VP pick, this may be the one circumstance that defies conventional wisdom.
We do have something to vote for: our liberty, our national security, our freedom from government oppression is all at stake. The Supreme Court, Senate, House, and the WH are all at stake. We will be the laughingstock of the world of the terrorists, Russians, Chinese, etc. Our servicemen (and I’m one) will be placed in a tough decision of whether to get out and have to struggle in a horrible economy or stay in and serve for a US Government that believes its own troops air-raid villages and kill civilians? This election is about the future, the chance to get to the future. If Obama wins, we are more than screwed.
McCain took a situation that the Obama camp meant to demoralize us, and did the work for them.
Now you will get to see a great ad for Obama from now until Nov 4th, courtesy of McCain.
Peachy.
Senator McCain and Governor Palin will get my vote.
To the cut and run cowards, This is for you and
here is for the camel you rode in on.
I wasn’t going to vote for John McCain until he chose Sarah Palin - now I will vote - but it will be for HER, not HIM. I am more scared of an Obama presidency - but I have to admit that it scares me also - the thought of a man being our president that cannot fathom the reality that when Sarah speaks “REAL straight talk” aimed at “REAL conservatives” - his poll numbers go up. And when he opens his mouth & talks this crap about how good of a man Obama is, blah, blah, blah - his numbers go down. If he cannot see that he needs to go out & fight against his opponent - how can I expect him to stand up to our country’s enemies?
I’m voting for him, but I am completely demoralized by him.
Amen sister! I am with YOU!
Count me on your side. I just did a rant on another thread about the same issue. The alternative is so bad that I don’t see how anyone could think about not voting for McCain/Palin. In fact, I will go so far as to say they are not Republican or Conservative because Obama is the most liberal member of the Senate, pals around with terrorist, encourages ACORN, did a suit against Citibank for ACORN, went to a black liberation church for 20 years, and the list goes on.
People need to quit whining and get out and work to make sure that Obama gets no where near the WH and the power that goes with it. Losing is NOT an option.
Keep up the great work!
I’m with you. We can rip McCain a new one after he wins. Save it people for after the election.
