McCain just killed all the momentum and enthusiasm of the last week with this simple sentence in response to an angry attendee at a rally tonight:
“I have to tell you, he is a decent person, a person that you do not have to be scared [of] as president of the United States."
“No, ma’am. He is a decent family man, citizen"
If those that think it's OK McCain to complement Obama at this stage of the game, well there is nothing I can do about it.
McCain didn’t surrender. He just endorsed a fellow socialist comrade.
Heck no. If we don't vote for this idiot, we'll be even more screwed. If it weren't for Sara, McCains poll numbers would be around, say, 10%.
He's not exaggerating.
But he can be aggravating.
Fact is, McCain stuck his foot in his mouth. BIGTIME!
For about five years we all thought the same thing when confronted by some mysterious and self-defeating non-sequitur by Bush--"He's got some strategery up his sleeve! Just wait and see!"
Turned out he was just a lame-o. No strategery, no nothing.
Forget Duncan Hunter... he is done, over finished.... move on!!!! if McCain loses kiss 2012, 2016, 20 anything goodby!!! Quit living in the past.. email or better yet CALL the McCain campaign and tell them what you think.
That would be interesting. I tell you, that man is interesting. I watched an hour of him with Glenn Beck a few weeks ago. He's very inspirational in terms of, "Get up off your ass and bug the hell outta your Congressmen" activism.
Pat Buchanan warmed to the Old Man because the Eastern Establishment that eventually wrecked the Party after Reagan left town hated Nixon. Nixon was never the problem. He was actually one of us. Ronald Reagan was an ally of Nixon's, and you'll notice that Reagan never said a bad word about Nixon.
That said, your analysis is pretty dead-on. Nixon tried to be establishment, but they never let him in the church door.

McCain can’t rip Obama apart in his ads and then say he’s a decent guy, etc. He screwed up, big time, and it’s going to bite him. The MSM will have a field day with this.
