McCain just killed all the momentum and enthusiasm of the last week with this simple sentence in response to an angry attendee at a rally tonight:
“I have to tell you, he is a decent person, a person that you do not have to be scared [of] as president of the United States."
“No, ma’am. He is a decent family man, citizen"
Thank you for reminding me.
I was lulled into a false sense of security by his VP pick and forgot all that.
Those are my choices. Depends on who the Dems put up as to which way I would like to see the ticket. The only problem is that Obama is going to damage us so badly I’m not sure there will be another free election. I am so sick at my stomach that I am conceding this current election but for my sanity I have to let go. I have voted...I just don’t feel in my heart it will matter....and, yes....I am damned depressed and I don’t want to feel better. I want to scream and rant and rave and curse....but, then, John McCain will just tell me to shut up!
MAKES ME UPSET THAT I VOTED FOR THE GUY!
My only saving grace is that I did not vote for Taxme Shamelss, my senator who is up for re-election.

Caseinpoint, I was going to write just about the same thing. Thank you for writing. You hit it on the nail. This is a tactic/strategy. The dems are looking for any small thing to hang around Sen. McCain’s neck. Don’t be fooled. Have faith! He can’t tell people to be scared of his opponent. He’ll let others do it.
So john mccain doesn't really mean it when approves any of his messages that say barack's actions are dangerous.

McCain attacked the crowd, and protected Oboma. A smart man would have attacked the RHETERIC, rather than the Republicans McCain ASSUMED were doing it.
The "angry crowd" could have just as easily been democrat activists attempting to make the Republican crowd look "racist."
Think about it. What Republican in his right mind would scream "Kill him! Hang him" in front of a dozen TV cameras?
