This is no doubt true. However the exact definition of what "natural born citizen" means has never been defined by the Supreme Court. As far as I am concerned it is a non-issue and should be. But, like I said, if all McCain has left is to question something like this, he is pretty much finished.
Management here has asked us to not post short vanities that could be posted as replies on other threads.

McCain’s birth certificate has been out in the open, resolved.
Obama’s has been shown to be a forgery....that in itself constitiutes fraud.

My daughter was born in Vietnam when I served there. She, like McCain, is a natural born US citizen. Her birth certificate was issued by the VN government. Her citizenship certificate, issued by the US Embassy, has the serial number beginning with a double “A”, i.e., “AA”; Her mother is a naturalized citizen and has a citizenship certificate beginning with a single “A”. Not much of a difference, but enough. “AA” status means citizenship the same as if actually born on US soil of US parents. “A” citizenship means you are a citizen but are excluded from ever being President.

McCain should have strongly opposed the "bailout" and fought it out based on freemarket principles. This bailout is going rotten so fast that everyone prominent who touched it is finished politically, except O'Bama and the real socialists and charlatans in Congress. Hussein supported bailout but no one heard that because he just sort of shuffled his feet and said yeah, sure. Hussein is smarter than any of these other prominent pols. He is smart but he is a Marxist and his goals do NOT include prosperity. His goal is the total collapse of Capitalism and its replacement with Socialism. He just doesn't want his fingers on the corpse as it is kicked off the cliff by the Interveners including, most glaringly because of his pivotal role in getting it passed, Senator John McCain.

It would have been great if he had siezed the "What is it you don't know?" question from the last debate and simply stated, "I don't know what most Americans don't know right now, and that is who is Barak Obama?" followed by a 5 second pause and his closing statement.
It was “over” when McCain enthusiastically pushed the Bailout and got it passed. Now he has NOTHING on which to campaign. The Ayers and ACORN stuff won’t fly at all. Have we not learned from our experience with the Clintons? Background and character are only relevant to candidates and politicians outside the Democrat Party.

Just one itsy, bitsy problem there, Diogenesis. It may not be his fault, but the complexities of his mother’s choices of residing for a number of years, along with the odds he wasb born on foreign soil, could likely DISQUALIFY him to hold the office of President of the United States.
I think the globalists want a foriegn born president just to set the precedent. On the other hand are those who fancy themselves to be political strategists are simply fools to play games with the constitution.
I think McCain can save himself in this regard by opposing and further bailouts. He can rightfully say that the bailout has not had the intended consequences and that more time must be allowed for the first bailout to work it’s way through the system.
The law suit concerning O’Bama’s not having a valid birth certificate. If demanding that Obama produce a birth certificate is grasping at straws as WE THE PEOPLE DEMAND TO SEE PROOF THAT HE IS ELIGIBLE TO BE PRESIDENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONSTITUION’s CRITERIA, then WE are LOST, LOST!!!!
Obama refuses in court to produce a birth certificate, instead he plays a legal delaying tactic. It’s pretty obvious that he doesn’t have legal proof he was born in the USA. Some of his relatives say he was born in KENYA.

Attached is Philip J. Berg’s Opposition to Defendants, the DNC and Obama’s Motion for Protective Order Staying Discovery pending Decision on their Motion to Dismiss. If the Protective Order were granted, discovery could not occur until the standing issue has been resolved and only if it is in favor of the plaintiff.
Following is an excerpt fromthe response:
PLAINTIFF’S RESPONSE IN OPPOSITION TO DEFENDANTS BARACK H. OBAMA AND THE DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL COMMITTEE’S MOTION FOR A PROTECTIVE ORDER STAYING DISCOVERY PENDING DECISION ON DISPOSITVE MOTION
Plaintiff, Philip J. Berg, Esquire [hereinafter “Plaintiff”] files the within Response in Opposition to Defendants, Barack H. Obama [hereinafter “Obama”] and the Democratic National Committee [hereinafter “DNC’] Motion for Protective Order Staying Discovery Pending Decision on Defendants Dispositive Motion on the following grounds:
1. Defendants’ pending Motion to Dismiss does not entitle them to a Protective Order under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 26(c) [hereinafter F.R.C.P. 26(c];
2. Defendants have failed to show “good cause” and are therefore not entitled to a protective order under F.R.C.P. 26(c);
3. Defendants have not pointed to any legitimate privacy concerns. Defendants have failed to point out any substantiated specific examples demonstrating that disclosure will cause a defined and serious injury;
4. Plaintiff does not seek access to the requested information for any improper purpose;
5. Defendants have not shown any risk that particularly serious embarrassment will result from the requested documents;
6. The requested information is extremely important for public safety; and “Good Cause” requires a particular need for the protection sought;
7. The sharing of information will promote fairness and efficiency so as not to delay this action;
8. Barack Obama, as U.S. Senator of Illinois and the Democratic Nominee for President of the United States, is a public person, and his citizenship status is a matter of significant public concern and is subject to legitimate public scrutiny. The Democratic National Committee is a public entity and is also subject to public scrutiny; and 9. The public interest in access to the requested information under the Freedom of Information Act 5 U.S.C. § 552 is a strong factor in favor of not granting a protective order which would prevent disclosure of such information.

There is absolutely no question, under US Law, that John Sidney McCain is a "natural born citizen" of the United States.
Obama's citizenship is difficult to determine, since he steadfastly refuses to document the circumstances of his birth.
Cheezey idea. There is a reason why none of the voices on the Right - from Rush through Coulter and on down - are not running with this story, there's nothing to it. If McCain does this then he's showing desperation.
McCain would be better served if he showed up at the debate with a coherent plan to alievieate the economic mess we're in.
I'm not sure what anyones problem is with an occasional "vanity" post. If I'm not interested in any that I see, it probably takes me less than a second to have considered it and skipped it.
So thanks refermech for coming up with an interesting idea that I hadn't considered. I doubt it will happen. I still tend to believe that Obama was born in Hawaii, based upon his reference to the hospital where he was born in Lessons from My Father published long before he would have been thinking about running for the Presidency. But the fact that Obama refuses to provide ANYTHING about his past, his birth certificate, his grades, his test scores, his medical records, &c., is at least interesting; and maybe McCain could use his birth certificate as a wedge to bring up Obama's obscure past.

Thousands of American citizens born to US military personnel serving abroad have these. Thousands of missionary children born abroad hold these. Thousands of children born to American business people, aid workers, students and travelers abroad hold these.
Three of my own children hold these as their one and only necessary birth certificate (one born in China, one in Russia, and one in the Philippines), and they are accepted for any purpose that any state-issued birth certificate would be required.
The document is issued by the U.S. Department of State through an embassy abroad, and clearly states that the child is a United States Citizen FROM BIRTH. No naturalization process is required.
If I am not mistaken, Mr. McCain was born in a hospital on a United States Naval installation in Panama, which, I understand, would be considered the same as U.S. territory.
I am of the assumption that if there were ever to be ever a court challenge over Mr. McCain's status, any federal court in the US would declare him to be a natural born citizen.
As for Obama’s (apparently ghost written and possibly by Ayers) biography- when do you think Obama began grooming himself (or being groomed) to run for President?
Furthermore, there are contradictions about which hospital in Hawaii he was “born” in...how many of us do not know (or our relatives do not know) which hospital we were born in?
Obama’s typical white Hawaii granny knows the story about what hippie dippy daughter Stanley really did — but isn’t it strange that granny has been so off-limits at the behest of the Messiah that there has been not a single interview?
I haven’t heard if granny Dunham is suffering from dementia, or even if Obama visited her when he was in hawaii- it is very very strange considering the mauling Sarah Palin’s family has received
