He has three Repulican women about Sarah Palin so I turn it on expecting some feel good stuff. Two of the women HATE Sarah Palin, one is vile in her insistance that Palin leave the ticket. Almost HYSTERICAL. Bay Buchanon the lone supporter. It is anti-McCain/Palin 24/7 on TV. For those of you who followed the Reagan campaign years, (I was in college and didn't follow politics like I do now) was it like this? The hatred is so over the top..the bias so incredibly evident. HELP ME!
Good point!
I am a successful woman who has had facial cosmetic surgery. Are you telling me I’m disqualified? OK...take me off your party list..I don’t think I’d want to come anyway.
Oh, and by the way..I look spectacular.
Well said. In any event, do you think that dried up old turd(Larry King)is unbiased?
I agree. It was not like this even for Reagan. “Snide” would describe the media during the Reagan years. You’d need a whole set of words to describe today’s media, including “hateful”, “hurtful”, “treasonous”, “deranged”, “anti-capitalist”, “anti-Christian”, and “pro-socialist”.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this Laxalt woman knew an over-educated middle-aged single cat-lady RINO working in the campaign, who had a poor view of Sarah. I doubt very much that this view would be shared by many others in the campaign.
Apparently, the Republicans are so short on qualified V.P. candidates that they've hired a “secretary” to hold interviews with the Communist media as well as meetings with leaders of foreign countries. This is unprecedented. And we owe this discovery to Laxalt’s daughter. She has the inside scoop because someone from the inside told her so.
lol!
Hi, Long time no pings.
I was in 11th grade for Reagans 2nd landslide.
I have had the pleasure to email with Peggy Noonan years ago about President Bush the Younger. I emailed her after reading one of her books. No one back then thought it possible for him to become President...she said they referred to him as the Kid when his father was in office.
I would like history to repeat itself once again and hope the media is underestimating the charisma of one Gov. Sarah Palin. I think the media is and we shall overcome. The country can not be that stupid. If so then we deserve what we get.
They said at the time (the loons) that Reagan created crack cocaine and homelessness.
Oh yeah, and AIDS. Not kidding.
That is offensive on so many levels.
The McCain campaign would have been dead and buried a month ago if it weren't for Sarah Palin. She's the ,i>only thing they've got going for them. They should be genuflecting to this woman.
The problem is that "the Kid" didn't grow up to be a very good president (at least so it seems right now).
Sadly, the left is attempting to paint Palin as George W. Bush in a skirt. Keith Olbermann even ran a split screen comparison of Bush's debate comments and Palin's debate comments -- Bush' "reformer with results" vs. Palin's "track record of reform", etc. I must admit that there were similarities. But there were also striking differences. Palin governed as a strict fiscal conservative. Bush did not. Palin's populism is based on American values of self reliance and local autonomy. Bush's populism is grounded in what he called "compassionate conservatism" -- which translated into big government spending programs which were really only a more efficient variation of LBJ's Great Society. Palin doesn't promise goodies and programs. She simply promises to put government back on the side of the people by reining in spending and making sure taxes are low. That's basic Reaganesque conservatism.
One of the things she did right away when she was elected governor is send out a directive to all government agencies to reduce their spending by 10% or she will do it for them. Can you imagine how awesome this lady would be in DC?!
