This is the farthest north that a wayward manatee has ever been reported,

They're not even native to north America so that should have been the first surprise.......

Shoot-em and cook-em, they're worthless and pose a greater risk to boaters who may hit them with their motors then face legal action.

Actually they are native to the Forida coast. Early Spanish explorers delighted in their discovery because in their mistaken belief they were fish, consumed them throughout the lenten season. Apparently they taste a lot like beef.
