Thr truth is, no one knows...but if I were a betting man, and the election was held today, I’d say the ObaMessiah would win...we have 3 weeks and polls can shift 5-7 points in that time...
watch this video, this is what we are facing the onslaught started in the 1960s

Internals on these polls show that they are heavily weighted DEM. I believe they are ultimately overweighting blacks, which also means they are over-representing intensity of approval among Democrats.
Look at past elections where the polls didn’t pan out.
A day or two away from election day, the pollsters finally care about being able to claim their accuracy once the election is done.
Here’s my rant from another thread on the ACTUAL DANGER in wallowing in all this doom, gloom and whiney defeatism-—especially when the game is far from over.

I take comfort in the memory of a drunken Susan Estritch on Election Night 2004 after seeing ther race conceded to President Bush.
My one reference point is - if all of this were true - why are they still hammering Sarah as though she were a threat? Answer: Because she is. And they are afraid.
This aint over by a long shot - just keep your eye on our goal and work toward that end.
The Dow is down 134 at the moment......
I think you are. If the election were held today, O would win FL, VA, NC and McCain would concede around 8pm EST.
I was wondering the same thing. I have tried so hard to be optimistic. I have told myself that its the biased media and skewed polls but I am beginning to think I am just whistling past the graveyard. I don’t understand it. The more dirt we hear on Obama the higher his poll numbers go.
Not yet. However, if the polls look like this right before the election, we better be prepared for President Obama.
Let’s see in 2000 at this time Gore was leading something like 11 points, and we got no President Gore. In 2004 Kerry was a head somthing like 15% at this time and we got no President Kerry. I believe we’ve seen this movie before and “propaganda” is her name. The problem is they target us like they target Dems and we know what BS smells like and they don’t. So since they tell Dems it’s in the bag they don’t bother to vote and Republican’s take nothing for granted and go vote anyway. :) Lovely isn’t it?
While the election is far from over, the real question we have to ask ourselves is whether America is still a majority conservative country.
The angry left, Hollywood and the mainstream media have waged an all-out culture war against conservative values over the last 30 years, and have progressively made progress trying to redefine traditional American values away from conservatism. Don’t underestimate the consistent pounding conservatives, their leaders and their values take on every news channel, every talk-show and almost every production out of Hollywood. For those who just vote once every couple of years, and get their news and information from those sources, it will take a lot to understand what the real differences are.
I believe that this election will show how far to the left American values have slipped. And yes, I know that there is still a significant portion of the population that is staunchly conservative. But is that portion in the majority in enough states or not?
McCain is still a much better choice than Obama. But just the fact that there is even a chance that a radical left-winger such as Obama can be elected scares the daylights out of me. Conservatives have been in polite retreat for too long, and regardless of the outcome of the election, will have to work hard to make sure that the average American understands what those values are. Or we will face the same kind of nonsense and mad scramble in every election, with a consistent trend to the left.
