Am I seeing it from rose-colored glasses? I think you are. If the election were held today, O would win FL, VA, NC and McCain would concede around 8pm EST.

I agree that if the election were today, Obama would probably win. My point is that signs are pointing in a more positive direction (except maybe on today's market, but the day's still young) and it's not over and certainly not as dire for us as the left would have us believe.

If the election were held today, O would win FL... Just an observation, but I have seen far fewer Obama signs and bumper stickers this time than I saw Kerry/Edwards stickers last time. Those few who have them look anything but mainstream. McCain/Palin signs & stickers, however, are much more evident.

I live in NC, and btw the rally in Asheville was not 30k , it was less than 8K
NC goes McCain...and the others you named are certainly not going Obama either.
