My beloved Bruccey is gone.

Sometime between midnight and 3am. My beloved Brucey crossed the rainbow bridge. He is no longer in pain and I had the pleasure of his presence for a year and a half longer than I expected. I have been blessed. But I am a mere mortal and in a lot of pain. If you are the praying type please slip in a word for me. I am single, an only child, and I am unable to have children. Bruce was pretty much all I had.

I completely understand your grief and your pain. It will take some time to heal your heart of that lingering pain, but you can take comfort in knowing that you have some wonderful memories of your beloved pet and he will always remain with you in spirit. It’s okay to cry. Surround yourself with those who have walked before you and take comfort in knowing that you are not alone.

Prayers. Celebrate that you had such a good friend. He wouldn’t want you to be sad.

Said a prayer for you & Brucey. So sorry for your loss. Please take comfort in that he loved you and is no longer in pain. We recently lost our house beagle (third son) to a splenetic tumor and are having quite a time adjusting without him. He lived much longer than the vets told us he would, and we are so thankful we found out early, and were able to make his remaining time the best we could. Pets really show you the depth of the love you are capable of, and can give. God bless you!

They shower you with unconditional love and loyalty....sounds as if you’ll own again. Take some time to enjoy his memories...there is another one out there for you! My yellow lab is 7 and owns our house...the kids go nuts over him.

Normally while I'm here, I can get a little gruff. However, I know your pain. We had a cat a few years ago that was near and dear to my wife, and later, myself. She got old and very sick, and one night we simply couldn't watch her suffer anymore. My wife took her to the vet, and we put her down. It was gently done, and she passed in my wife's arms. I remember how hard I cried..harder even than for some relatives of mine. In fact, as I type this, the screen's getting fuzzy.
Just remember: He waiting for you on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge, and he ‘s got a friend named Kits who, while down here they might not have liked each other so much, will be there to play with until you join him one day.
God bless you.
