Having said that, I do believe that Obama had a ghost writer, probably selected by his publisher. How did this then-nobody GET a book deal, a publisher, and a ghost writer? Not plausible. The "push" came from elsewhere, from a collaborator (Ayers?) who saw the potential in Obama, ghost-wrote the book, and THEN sold it to a publisher ina very polished form.IMHO.

I don't think so. Barack was elected President of the Harvard Law Review in 1990, and the first printing of DFMF came out in 1995. [See post above], having spent the 4 previous years in his *community organizer* activities on the Chicago South Side.

Hmmmm, Chicago/1985-90. That rings a bell or two.
