Maybe. Don't underestimate the attention span of the typical American. Any sooner and a goodly fraction of the voters would completely fugidaboutit.

Not too little too late. One month in an election is an eternity. They are pulling their trumps cards at the right time. Anytime earlier, the public would have forgot. Make no mistake, it Palin and McCain continue the Ayers, Wright, Rezco, Freddie Mac and Fannie May cards, Obama is toast. Take that to the bank.
