Folks...this isn't bad, but Maher's new movie, "Religious," has almost as many box office receipts ($1.125M), with only half the theaters.
If you want to continue to see conservative themes in movies, particularly comedies, you need to get out there and see this flick!

Saw it this afternoon and loved it. Will tell my friends.

I dragged my wife to see it at the 13:55 show today. There were 5 of us in the show. That would be $35!

You mean five in the whole theatre?

I saw it, it was fun. A regular Effigy burning of a movie, O’Rielly and Hollywood conservatives repeatedly slap, bash, step on, and verbally abuse, the highly deserving Michael Moore.

Hubby and I went to see it today. I counted 12 people.
Good movie, made me cry in some scenes but over all funny.

I checked and it is not being shown in our area. It might be showing about 80 miles away.

So, how's the bill marr movie?
I mean what was the reaction in the theater(or the communist debriefing bunker at the end of the mall , as Jay Leno refers to them as)

I don't think most here would care to see the steaming pile Maher made even if somebody else paid for the tickets.

It’s not showing here, and if it isn’t here by opening day, that means it won’t be showing locally. :-( (Beverly Hills Chihuahua made it though, and its opening totals are at $7.8 million so far.) Not only did American Carol NOT make it to my local theater, but Dark Knight , Death Race, and House Bunny are all still here. Two of those movies are total crap fests, and they’re still here . :-( Guess I’ll put it in my netflix queue. Sigh....

You’re lucky...There’s exactly ONE theater left in my tiny podunk town, so if a movie doesn’t come to it, you can drive for over an hour to a bigger town, or wait to rent it. :0-( Well, at least I get to see Cute Talking Dogs tomorrow....

Wife and I went last night. Pretty strong showing in Grapevine, TX...2/3 of the theatre was occupied.
I'll be going back at least once more, as a couple of zingers went right past me.
I started tearing up in the final scene, i.e. our military down to Revolutionary War. Actually, I'm choking up now as I relive the moment.

"I hate going to theaters for numerous reasons from cell phones to rude, dirty and unhealthy humans." Me too. Go to the 2nd show Monday or Tuesday evening.
