Serious Questions about both Sarah Palin and John McCain
me | 10/03/08 | johnthebaptistmoore

Posted on 10/03/2008 2:47:15 AM PDT by johnthebaptistmoore

While I will truly vote for them on November 4, I truly still have some serious questions about both John McCain and Sarah Palin: When is John McCain truly going to "wake up politically" and stop behaving just like how Bob Dole did in 1996 during too much of his own run for the Presidency? What exactly is Sarah Palin's own views on both illegal immigration and full border security? How can John McCain truly be for national security, if he's truly also for granting amnesty for illegal immigrants throughout the entire U.S. (The same question also deserves to be asked of both Barack Obama and Joe Biden.)? How can John McCain truly be for both cutting taxes and be a pro-business Presidential candidate, if McCain truly has a very long political record of voting against tax cuts as well as fully supporting "green legislation", which includes many tax increases, much "red tape", and more business regulations-all combined which will truly hurt many people and many businesses for the long-term? How can McCain truly be for free speech, if he truly helped in creating the latest and ongoing "campaign finance reform" legislation, which is truly against free speech and so truly also very unconstitutional throughout? How can a President McCain truly succeed in getting any to all truly conservative judicial candidates approved to any to all judicial vacancies at the federal level by the next U.S. Senate, if the next U.S. Senate is truly still full of a "leftist majority" from both major political parties? How can a majority of leftists in both Houses of the next Congress truly not succeed in making a President McCain really become either a "closet Democrat", a "wussy politician", or a "political puppet" without that much power overall for the next four years? How can a President McCain be successfully encouraged to truly become a conservative politician on all of the issues instead of truly still being a maverick politician on all of the issues? How can a President McCain truly succeed in keeping his temper in check throughout his entire duration as the next President? Where are the still much needed "political coattails" that a McCain/Palin ticket should be truly using "to the max" in order to successfully help other conservatives and help other Republicans truly win their political races at each and every level? How can John McCain truly be for conservative principles and against pork barrel spending, and against all other kinds of "political goodies", when McCain truly supports the socialistic government bailout legislation, which is also now full of pork barrel spending programs as well as full of other "political goodies"?

Man50D is an idiot. I don’t think you’re going to get through to him.

I’ve been raging against the wimpy campaign that Senator McCain has been running for weeks now. But I know the difference between a true American and a true traitor when I see one.

McCain is the true American in this race, for all his faults.

He’s going to lose, because he puts Bipartisanship first, above his country, above his need to win this election. But that doesn’t make him un-American.

Obama is un-American.

The video does touch on a number of topics, and I think most are germane ) If I could have found video that contained most of this information without touching on McCain's POW experience I would have posted it instead. Still, there are parts of McCain's POW experience that are troubling. I'd just rather not go there. Video2 shows how one MIA family rep is treated, confirming some of the reports in Video1.

So instead of standing up to Obama, you will, by inaction, stand aside and effectively help the **worst** candidate into office?

Please show me where I stated I will do nothing.

If the “big news” is that McCain is a socialist, we were all over that. Last summer.

Then it should have made an impression by now voting for McCain only advances the socialist cause at the expense of conservatism.

We get it. We know. We understand. Yeah, we really do know.

If you did then you wouldn't be supporting a socialist simply because he has an R after his name.

I truly still have some serious questions about some FReepers: When is johnthebaptistmoore truly going to “wake up” and stop posting long threads without multiple paragraphs? What exactly is johnthebaptistmoore’s own views on one long vanity with a single paragraph in a thread? How can johnthebaptistmoore truly be for national security, if he’s truly also for posting whining threads (The same question also deserves to be asked of both Barack Obama and Joe Biden.)? How can johnthebaptistmoore truly be for both cutting taxes and be a pro-business Presidential candidate, if johnthebaptistmoore truly has a rather short record of writing vanities which will truly hurt many people’s eyes and many ruin reading pleasure for the long-term? How can johnthebaptistmoore truly be for free speech, if he truly helped in creating the latest and ongoing “campaign downer” thread, which is truly against grass roots campaigning and so truly also very depressing throughout? How can a johnthebaptistmoore truly succeed in getting any to all Freepers to him, if the next vanity is truly still full of a “defeatest attitude” from beginning to end? How can a majority of leftists in the blogosphere truly not succeed in using johnthebaptistmoore to really become either a “closet Democrat”, a “wussy politician”, or a “political puppet” with all of the written condenscention in this tome? How can johnthebaptistmoore be successfully encouraged to truly become an active grass roots campaigner on the issues instead of truly still being a complainer on all of the issues? How can johnthebaptistmoore truly succeed in keeping his temper in check throughout his entire duration of the next month? Where are the still much needed “political coattails” that a johnthebaptistmoore should be truly using “to the max” in order to successfully help other conservatives and help other Republicans truly win their political races at each and every level? How can johnthebaptistmoore truly be for conservative principles and against pork barrel spending, and against all other kinds of “political goodies”, when johnthebaptistmoore supports writing asinine vanities like this, which is also now full of liberal ammo as well as full of other “political goodies” to be used by the dark side?

Rose colored glasses come to mind when I see Man50D posting.
I should just let it pass, but I am tired, been long night and his post irked me.

We will see what happens in November, remember USA has weathered storms in past and come out stronger than before.

Mayhap hardtimes are a coming, but might just be what rids us of liberals and communists for good.

Socialist. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

When Obama wins, and right now it’s looking like he will, we won’t be ridding ourselves of liberals for a generation, or more.

He’s going to appoint supreme court justices who will legalize voter fraud.

He’s going to outlaw conservative speech.

He’s going to institute political indoctrination in the classroom.

As bad as you can imagine it, that’s how bad it’s going to be.

It won’t really be the USA anymore. We’re going to become a different kind of country, one in which conservatives will probably be tolerated but most likely have to watch our step.

I don’t think very many people have an idea how bad this is.

Certainly John “Mr. Bipartisanship” McCain doesn’t. He’s giving this thing away.

You have posted your McCain hit list on multiple threads. When does it become spamming? Oh...and if you are going to spam threads with this info, you really should make sure all of your links are in good working order. I found multiple non-functioning links. You have some work to do.

I have have read research that has been posted about Obama.

I believe that if he gets in office it will be worse than anything any of us can imagine.

There are still weeks to go to the election.

John is honorable, that because of his past and the present political climate is unable to fight Obama’s minions.
But fate or God( my personal opinion) gave JM the wisdom to pick Sarah Palin.

I believe that she is making impression on American people.
I believe this because MSM is becoming more virulent in attacking her and her family.
She justs lets it go by which infuriates the MSM.

Which causes Obama and his minions to attack her all the more.

Obama is attacking a woman that is running bottom of the ticket. Obama should be fighting McCain not Sarah.

In school yard vernacular, Obama and Biden are getting their clocks cleaned by a girl.

Which I say McCain should put out as an ad.

I have faith in America, times were rough before, they will be rough again.
But we get knocked down we come back..

I also am waiting for either Obama or Biden to step on their collective wankers, because they think they have this election in the bag.

Arrogant elitist that they are, they are almost assuredly going to do or say something incredibly stupid.

Remember OBama and his “clinging to guns and religion”remark
give him time and he will make another

Oh, spare us this shi’ite. You haven’t expressed a single original thought.

I suggest you have a large whiskey, and then go work for a candidate for mayor, or governor, or State Senate, or Town Council. Or just sit in a lawn chair in your driveway and have another whiskey, if you can’t stop quivering and snivelling.

It’s not enough, nailbiter. It’s not enough. Remember, Obama has the media on his side. A few gaffes on his part will mean nothing.

McCain has to fight to win.

McCain isn’t fighting.

McCain is going to lose.

That's an interesting array of subject, verb, adjective, and object number-confusion. However, it's not really an image I needed this early in the day ... made me think of some reptiles that have two ...

Ii don’t think it’s that simple. I tend very strongly towards a grown up form of libertarianism. In my view McCain is flat out vastly preferrable to Obama. Not even close.

I’d love to see someone with the instincts of Milton Friedman become president, but that ain’t gonna happen. Especially since the XIXth Amendment.

We will need to disagree at this time. If after election this board still exists (Nobama lost). Then we can comgratulate McCain and Palin.

If the worst happens, we can perhaps figure out which country will accept conservatives, certainly will not be this one.
