Hope I'm weong, but I think McCAin is finished. If he can't hold Colorado and/or Virginia, there's no way he can win. The chances of him flipping Michigan and/or Pennsylvania is pretty slim. We're screwed.
When mac chose to not expose the fannie/freddie core problem of Johnson & Raines and their continued relationship with nobama as well as how bwaney frank, dodd, chuck-you schumer, et al are just as guilty, it demonstrates mac's refusal to tackle the problem. He chose to offend his "friends across the aisle".
Sigh. Good Bye America.....
Pennsylvania is in play, despite the cesspool that is Philly. Partially because Rendell will not be helping out Obama like he would help Hillary.
I think the Zero is finished, and the rats in congress are not as safe as they think.
Where you moving to?
How uplifting! While it’s discouraging at this stage, let’s not give up. Just a couple weeks ago, McCain looked like almost a sure thing in winning the White House and now he’s behind by a few points in the polls, but all is not lost - by any stretch.
Consider the following:
(1) Where has Obama padded his lead? Polls this week have shown McCain holding solid leads in southern states like Louisiana, Tennessee and Kentucky amid all the financial trouble (all 3 of those states voted for Bill Clinton twice). If Obama is mainly just adding to his New York and California leads and only moderately adding to his leads elsewhere, he’s not doing very well. The stupid Daily Kos released a poll done by Research 2000 that found in both of Florida’s 13th and 18th congressional districts, McCain was doing as well or BETTER than President Bush did in 2004, suggesting McCain is still ahead in Florida.
(2) How accurate are the polls, considering Obama’s race? The polls have been pretty much off in almost most of the recent elections from 1996 onwards, if not by small margins.
(3) There’s still more than a month of campaigning. Senator McCain is not to be underestimated.
That said, I’m also concerned about the direction this race is going, but my faith is still there for a McCain win.
WNY: “Hope I’m weong ...”
I’m normally not a spelling ninny, but DAMx!
Most of the Right hasn't ever heard of Alinsky, but - thanks to 0bama and his friends - we're starting to read his stuff.
We’ve been screwed for a long time now. But it’s good you finally realize it.
I hope you’re not basing your woes on poll numbers...
If I remember correctly, GW was much farther behind at this time in 2004....
keep the faith bud :)

Man Up!
Well, I'm in Ohio...so maybe Alaska? Or Floriduh?
mccain simply refuses to engage and expose "his friends". I guess we shouldn't be surprised but I had hopes he would see reality after "his friends" in the MSM began attacking him and sliming Sarah.
If STUPID Americans vote for such a LIGHT-WEIGHT and a MARXIST to boot, then our country is beyond screwed....it is OVER....never to come back.....and with our history of ABORTIONS, I think God has drawn back the cloak of grace that HE has bestowed on this country.
LOL!... BTTT!
You girly man. Get some backbone and keep fighting..one bad week of polls and the doomsayers are out in force.
Sounds like some DU pansies too me.
But then, I'm watching to see what he does, rather than what he says. He's been standing with the House Republicans. For he to have brought this up during the debate WOULD have encouraged a public panic. It would have been truly vacuous of him had he done what you suggest.
I think I better find out how to do that...after I shower.
