Good story. "zelig" and I are doing our best to educate (on a daily basis) non-FReeper friends and family members up here, but doubt that our efforts will translate into electoral votes for McCain in deep-blue New England. We have a big family gathering on Sunday, Oct. 5... we'll be spreading the word about what a fraud B. Hussein Obama is to undecideds who are leaning toward Obama.

It would really help, though, to have another television network besides FNC that truly is "fair and balanced" in their coverage... People in my area seem to get all their news from CNN/MSNBC and/or The (viciously liberal) Hartford Courant.

You got it. I am not a McCain fan and still may leave the Office of President blank, but Obama would be an unmitigated disaster for this country.

The Dem primary enabled the Dems to build a formidable ground game in almost every state. They are very organized and well-funded. They have supported a huge voter registration effort and I am sure they will be turning out voters on election day as well as for early voting. If the economy continues to tank, Obama will be the next President.

If the Republican party cannot beat a skinny little kid like Obama then we as a nation deserve the punk bastard. Blaming Rush will do no good because Rush gave the Republicans an easy homerun: Obama. We could be facing Bill Clinton via Hillary and we all know what a hard campaigner he is, but we get to smack around Obama and so far we suck at it.
