When are we going to be allowed to blame Rush for Obama?
Sept. 28, 2008 | Hildy

Posted on 09/28/2008 8:13:14 PM PDT by Hildy

Up until today I was sure that McCain would win..and I've always thought he'd win by alot. I didn't take into account just how unfair the press was going to be. It's a never ending drumbeat, like the article that was posted last week. It's unrelenting..and it's always negative towards McCain and positive towards the "ONE." But it looks like it's working and we might have a President BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA. I'm glad my Father is not alive to see this.

We need big prayers, people..I don't know what it's going to take. I can't believe people think the Dems will be better for the economy.

We allowed the press do beat up Bush so badly that he's just a shell of a President. Some of it was deserved, but the level of it was not. And we just let it happen.

For the first time in years, I am depressed about the future.

For the sake of the country, I believe Hillary would have been a better President. Like Rush, I thought Obama was unelectable. I'm just numb right now to think that my beloved country is SO DAMN STUPID.

My grandaughter used to spew the liberal garbage she learned at school, especially from her Russian language instructer, but guess what, after she got a few years older, the conservative teachings of her parents and grandparents settled in her mind and she is totally conservative now and has an amazing understanding of what conservativism is. She has a boyfriend who was a dem follower and she is leading him down the right path. Her parents (my daughter and son in law) voted for Bill Clinton the first time but my conservative teaching reached them and they have voted Republican ever since so never underestimate the power of the teaching in the home to overpower the indoctrination in the school. Besides look at all the kids who call Rushs’ show and tell about how they stand up to their liberal teachers.

You are right and I feel chastised. Earlier on another thread, I lashed out at Bush over this bailout and for the first time in 8 years doubted his capability to be president. I needed the reminder of all the good hes done and what a decent human being he is. This thread has been good for many of us to quell the mass hysteria that has been building this week.

I think if Hillary had got the nomination she might not have necessarily been harder to beat but we wouldn’t have had our Sarah. McCain wouldn’t have picked her if Hillary had been the nominee.

The fact that Iowa wants Obama more than their freedom makes wonder if we can trade Iowa to Putin for some oil or something.

I love it! LOL

FReepers and conservatives are grumbling about all the TRUE negative stuff about Obama, but it isn't getting out there...

You know how I feel about armchair warriors. That aside...posted this story yesterday. It appears to apply here:

While we were having breakfast in a local restaurant Saturday, a young man came in to join what appeared to be his grandparents at the table next to us. The young man was fired up about the debate Friday night. He "was very impressed" with Obama, and talking loudly enough for us to hear every word.

As time wore on, he became less jubilant. Next thing we heard was a dejected, "Oh, I never thought about that." At this point, it was clear that the elder couple had also watched the debate, and were giving the young man a taste of experience. We never heard a word the couple was saying. Didn't need to, because the loud young man's transformation said it all.

“We allowed the press do beat up Bush so badly that he’s just a shell of a President. Some of it was deserved, but the level of it was not. And we just let it happen.”

Look at the other side of the coin. What if America’s rock-ribbed conservatives had done less?

I understand your frustration. In a fight, it often feels like you’re losing, like you’re getting beat to a pulp, until you see the other guy. Imagine being a member of DU right now, how depressing that might be.

This is so ridiculous, I don’t know where to start. There was one conservative and one conservative ONLY who propped up the Hillary campaign, and that was Rush. Sheesh. Where have you been for the last two years?

No he doesn’t and that’s flat out a lie. Rush tried to prop UP Hillary through Operation Chaos. Why are you spreading such untruths?

That makes two of us. They left us a GREAT country. I feel as though I've failed my kids and grandkids. I feel like a heel.

I was just thinking today that our grandchildren and great-grandchildren may be trying the border INTO Mexico at the rate we're going. What a depressing thought.

I've got Obama Derangement Syndrome, I guess, because I absolutely despise everything about this man and what he represents.

I would tend to blame a dumbed down electorate that has been indoctrinated in schools and by the media for too many years. All of us have allowed the people behind the indoctrination to operate freely without question. This is the real place where the chickens are coming home to roost.

There are those that will vote for Obama in spite of knowing any of the truths about Obama. I guess many no longer care about the truth.

As to the GOP side, they have moved left and have lost the respect of their voters since they seem to always be open to crawling across the aisle to allow the Marxists another victory.

None of this has anything to do with Rush. He actually kept Hillary in the race far longer than she would have been. I agree that Hillary isn’t quite as scarey as Obama.

Race isn’t over yet. Pray alot that something intervenes to stop Barry soon.

In the end, we will all look to blame someone, even though the fact remains that there is enough blame to spread around to every house in America.

For the first time in years, I am depressed about the future.

There are lots of medications which can help you thru this. Talk to your doctor and make sure you inform him about all your current medications.

Certain medications when combined with others may produce serious side effects such as erratic heart beat, blindness, dizziness, loss of memory, upset stomach, erections lasting over 4 hours and chronic flatulence.......

If any of these symptoms should occur, please discontinue medication and contact your physician immediately.

Good Luck....

Watch the debate...Mac did great. As Brent Bosell told the Friends this morning—even Time magazine said “McCain won but who cares.” And as other FReepers pointed out, there are a lot of trolls and drama queens on board lately.

No, he doesn't.

Have you listened the last week or so?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Last week, no,...but.. immediately.prior to that, yes.

In fact, we painted 4 rooms of our house this month, and I have listened to **all** of Rush's archives ( 4 weeks worth) more than once. In that time I recall him using the word Marxist **ONE** time. ( indirectly referring to an Obama associate)

So...If this last week (the grandchildren were visiting) he has had a change of heart and is using the words “Marxist” and “Communist” on a daily basis, and he has **seriously** started educating his listeners, then good for him.

The problem is ***far*** bigger than Obama!

Marxism is our nation's **most** serious threat. There are Marxists thoroughly entrenched throughout our entire culture in positions of great power and influence. ( Schools, especially)

If Rush can't see that he is a big fat idiot! If he does see it and refuses to call them what they are, then he is a liar.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I'll be sewing a baptism dress for my grand daughter, so I'll have an opportunity to catch up on all of the last week of Rush's programs.

I hope you are right. I hope I hear the words Marxism and Communism a lot. I hope Rush will **finally** start teaching his listeners about the danger that confronts this nation.

The problem is **far** bigger than this one election or puny Obama. Marxists are thoroughly entrenched in every niche of our culture except the military.

I agree, the country is lost, there is no way to elect a conservative anymore (not saying McCain is one, imaging if he was) but at this point, America is being taken over by Marxists and we can all pretend like we can change it but my guess is this is the last republican candidate.
