Defeat Them.

We have nothing in common with these people. No compromise, debate, or "meeting in the middle" is possible. We are in a battle with those who hate America: what it was founded on, what she stands for and the people who love her.

Power is the only langauge they speak. No outrageous lie exists they are not willing to tell, no horrific way to kill a baby they are too ashamed to partake of, and no height of hypocrisy they will not subcribe to in order to reach their ultimate goal of control over the population of America.

Every council seat in every small town, mayoral postions, state government to gubernatorial elections must be contested with every ounce of strength we have. These people cannot be trusted to pick up road kill on the side of the road. It is, of course, difficult to apply the required amount of passion in every place, at every time for every open position of government that exists. Our lives are more than elections, debates and community organization. We live as free men and women.......for now. God, Family, and Country take priority in our lives instead of earmark spending, gathering information on how to promulgate the murder of abortion survivors, and doing a little blow in Mayor Daley's office bathroom in Chicago with P.Diddy. We are at a place where we must choose whether we are going to become a socialist conglomerate of competing interest group ruled by an oligarchy of Supreme Court judges, N.A.R.A.L. lobbyists and Hollywood elites who couldn't verbalize their political beliefs without a talking points memo from Keith Olbermann and Michael " I didn't call Jenny" Moore, or continue as a proud Constitutional Republic. We have had war declared upon our country by Islamic Jihadists and illegal aliens who believe it is their right to kill our citizens, deplete our resources, and bring down our buildings. The honorable Barack Obama believes we should read these people their "rights" while at the same time relinquish our constitutionally proteced right to protect ourselves. If we don't stand up now, we may all be forced to bow later.

I wholeheartely agree.

This is why I find it so infuriating when McCain talks about “reaching across the aisle.”

YOU NEGOTIATE WITH THE ENEMY WITH YOU KNEE ON THEIR CHEST AND YOUR KNIFE AT THEIR THROAT!

That’s what I call “bipartisanship.”

Making enemies of other Americans is un-American, in my book. Extreme partisanship has gotten us nowhere—and declaring ‘war’ on half the population seems to go against one of the values we were founded on ‘United We Stand’. I thought McCain showed a lot of class opening last night with concern for Kenndy’s health.

And what has “bipartisanship” gotten us?

The “cold war” stage of Civil War II has already started. In fact it probably started about 40 years ago. The right just got engaged about 25 years ago, in the Reagan Era. The left’s strategy appears to be to use immigrants as their surrogate fighters, fund themselves with internationalist finaciers like Soros, and use external threats (China, terrorism, etc) as a diversion. If they can make enough headway without firing a shot, they will do so. Since they control the bureaucracy, education, the media, religious organizations, all they need to do for their control to be complete is to control natural resources, the means of production and distribution and the military. Sorry to say their plan seems to be working pretty damned well.

So you don’t believe there are Americans who are enemies of America?

If you think the answer is to declare half the country an enemy and then treat them as such you are by definition un-American. Politics in a democracy is compromise—maybe not the most palatable idea to those of us who hold our beliefs strongly, but it’s fact. Don’t you remember those infuriating filibusters? That’s what non-bipartisanship gets us. A lot of petty infighting.

Many democratic ideas are actually laudable but whenever they try to write legislation they invariably go overboard and then compound the problem by seeing the solutions as a way to get more people on their side. The republicans would be wise to take their best ideas and improve on them. This would give the American people the best of both worlds and totally marginalize the dems. All out war with half the country makes no sense to me.

I do, but they are not the other half of main stream politics in America. I disagree with their 'vision' for our nation, but that does not make them my enemy. The idea of single party politics is not appealing to me. China, Cuba and the USSR had single parties.

OK, hang on here a second.

Are you going to try to tell me that you can look at Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi and Chuch Schumer and the rest of the usual suspects and tell me IT’S NOT WORTH GOING TO WAR AGAINST THEM?

Are you REALLY trying to tell me you think you can “get along” with them for a better America?????

Really????

I’m telling you there is NO WAY!

Obviously demonizing your political foes is a favorite tactic of the left. I don't know that I have a good solution--but I think a first good step is realizing it's a problem.

Are you going to tell me you want to go to war with your fellow Americans rather than try to engage them in debate, politics and compromise? Do you really think that is what’s best for this country? If that is what this great country has become in your mind I feel sorry for you. In a huge country you don’t get “your way” all the time. It’s not possible. There are just too many issues with too many sides. Just because someone disagrees with you on some of the issues you hold dear does not make them your enemy. That is undemocratic and un-American. Civics needs to be a little more civil—unless you’re looking for a civil way, but that seems un-American.

Many years ago, we were taught to pray for our enemies. I don't remember all the words, but the ending was something like:
" ... and may God have mercy on their souls. Amen."

Tell that to the digital brown shirt brigades under orders to shut down media outlets by jamming their phone lines and web sites. The media outlets that are merely interviewing authors of books that happen to be critical of the Messiah.

Tell that to the Messiah who has attempted to sic the justice department on media outlets and TV stations demanding that ads be pulled and the stations be penalized or investigated.
