“disrespectful”

BINGO!! Typical liberal tactic .. and exactly what Couric did to Gov. Palin.

Disgusting tactic .. and there is no way Obama won that debate (as CBS is trying to prove). He was rude and he interrupted McCain way too many times. I don’t recall that McCain interrupted Obama .. but I’d have to listen to the debate again .. don’t want to do that.

Presidents stay Presidential, losers stoop. McCain will do fine to address America and point out Sen. Obama’s record.

He did very poorly at trying to tie McCain to Bush...IMO. McCain clipped him every time he tried. I loved it when McCain brought up the fact that B.O. has never been to a hearing in his own committee...and the thing with his pseudo presidential seal. *chuckle*

B.O. seems lost without a teleprompter... and you almost become embarrassed for the guy when he starts the stuttering and stammering. The struggle is painful to watch...

I wanted to punch someone, but who? Give me a clue here...

John McCain.

If there is one thing that makes me question McCain's judgment it is his willingness to kowtow to the scumbag Democrat "mainstream" newsrooms. They have a singular objective and that is to see him defeated. How many glasses of cold water need to be thrown in his face before he realizes that he does not need them?

Why in God's name does he insist on sending palin into these ambushes? He has to learn to simply tell the scumbags to go play in the street. Then he needs to get Palin on conservative talk radio and even interactive web interviews moderated by reputable, established blogs and news forums. Like Free Republic, for example.

Reagan went over, around, and barreled straight through the Democrat "mainstream" newsrooms and took his message directly to the people. If Reagan could work that way and succeed in those times, when the Democrat "mainstream" newsrooms held a monopoly on the selection, dissemination, and spin of the daily news, then surely McCain can work the same way in today's world of the "new media", talk radio, cable news, and the internet.

Don’t tell anyone it’s over. It’s 50/50 or worse and MSNBC is on the story. The conservative turn-out needs to be huge.

"I also find it telling that the Obama campaign figured that the "John" tactic was needed in the first place. Obviously, the campaign believes there is a "stature gap" that must be overcome."

Bingo. But, Senator McCain addressed him as Senator Obama, showing that he has more class and humility in his little finger than Obama has in his whole body.

I think it will backfire on Obama, because even most, who don't particularly like or agree with McCain politically, respect his genuine love and service to our country - excepting those like Obama, Ayers, et al, of course.

Such posturing only emphasizes the contrast in knowledge and experience between two men who would become the most powerful person in a volatile and dangerous world.

It is difficult to imagine that type of attitude going over well with world leaders who are also older and more experienced than Obama. There is quite a difference between self-confidence and arrogance. McCain displays the former (he has earned it), and Obama the latter.

I don't think there will be a problem with that. Now... if we could just get the living illegals and the dead to quit voting... I think McCain will win it.

I jokingly said to my wife "if Obama removes all of the ums his answers will be very short". That part he managed to do pretty well. ...

Barrack UHbama had one major malfunction on his Uhs... that was when he was stating he had a bracelet too! He looked down at the bracelet "Sgt Uhhhhh.." That was a major gaffe on his part with the positioning of this UHHH.

Did you see the look of pure, unadulterated hatred on Perky's face when she was interviewing Gov. Palin? It wasn't in every shot, but it came through loud and clear several times when the camera was on her face.

Never seen that before. Her face was pure BITCHINESS. Ugly to behold that sort of hatred.

If there is one thing that makes me question McCain's judgment it is his willingness to kowtow to the scumbag Democrat "mainstream" newsrooms.

It's been his Achilles's Heel for a long time now. He's been "reaching across the aisle" to the left, and been getting stabbed in the back for it for years. Most politicians would quickly realize that the other side really means them ill, but McCain seems to be oblivious to the treatment.

McCain is giving the left a respect that they don't deserve. He's an honorable man, but he has incorrectly estimated the level of real evil that exists on the left. He should be correctly identifying them as the source of corruption in our culture, and waging an unrelenting war against them.

George Bush has this same failing, and we see what all of his bi-partisanship has gotten him in the last eight years.

And what is all this BS about bi-partisanship anyway? The Democrat left can now be correctly identified as a domestic enemy of the United States, by their very deeds. As such, they should be accorded NO respect, or deference, but should be squarely called out and confronted for the evil they've become. They should be fought and resisted at every turn by our Republican reps.

To continue aiding and abetting these traitors by maintaining the facade of congeniality and decorum in dealings with them only gives them a legitimacy, which they should not be accorded.

So yes. It is nearly a high crime to send Sarah Palin into the viper's den of the MSM studios. These people are professional killers in the arena of public perception, and are a knowing and avowed enemy to all we patriots hold dear.

Team McCuda should have learned this even before the Charles Gibson interview, and they certainly should have been convinced afterwards, of the MSM's intention to destroy them. So ---- why the hell did they send Sarah into a second trap with Couric? I don't know if I want to know the answer. It can't be good.

...he needs to get Palin on conservative talk radio and even interactive web interviews moderated by reputable, established blogs and news forums.

Absolutely. Come up to present time, McCain, before these creatures destroy you.

I’m not exactly sure what kind of training community organizers do get. Don’t know about Pensacola training but do know BO wouldn’t last a New York minute at OCS in Quantico. He just doesn’t have a clue. There are some very weird Senators but somehow I just can’t see him being “one of the boys”. Not to many of them play basketball, go to the gym or eat cucumber sandwiches.

She couldn't mask it, apparently. I know that people all over the country noticed that. Especially the women. Katie's vile reactions to Sarah probably even caused some fence-sitters to join our side.

I might ask "why all the hate?", but I know that this irrational hatred of Sarah Palin has its roots in the fact that she represents a threat to the MSM and the far-left that they have never witnessed before. So - in a weird sense, it's rational. But evil.

I remain stunned at the way liberal women despise her. There is absolutely no diversity of opinion allowed if you are a woman, Jew, or black. Stay on the liberal plantation or be damned. And I do mean damned. Some of these women have said such ugly things about Sarah that actually being beaten and hung from a tree would not be far behind.

Never thought of myself as one of the damned, but you know, you're right.

I left the liberal plantation sometime during Bubba's second term and never looked back, except to spit. My extended family has since become convinced that I've become a padawan of the Sith.

My son is a flight instructor at Pensacola.

If you think Pensacola is bad...

his sister graduated from Parris Island.

It is as predictable as the sun coming up in the east. Look at the way Clarence Thomas was/is treated. Or Michael Steele. The lefty mice have a special venom for anybody who opposes them who isn't a white man. People like Thomas, Steele, and Palin (among many others) have a special courage and strength of character that makes them all the more admirable, in my opinion.
