How do you think the candidates will do? Obama has been away at Debate Camp all week practicing with a high powered attorney, so I don't think that he will bomb.
Rush was talking about that one day, how he wanted to make sure that nobody could tell where he was from. So he worked on pronouncing words fully. I tried it, didn’t last long, way too hard to do.

McCain won the foreign policy portion of the debate hands down. Obama won the first two questions, though, because he blamed the financial meltdown on Bush & the GOP (and got away with it), while McCain did nothing but wail against Wall Street and missed the golden opportunity to tie Obama to Fannie Mae, Raines, Johnson, etc.. Still, McCain won the night to anyone other than an Obambi sycophant, which includes most of the media.

I must admit I watched it on CBS because FOX News isn’t in High Definition, and I wanted to see the debate in HD. But I turned to Fox immediately afterward, and have it on right now.

omg, I always think that about Graham too. He’s kind of ... I don’t know... creepy or something “visually”. However, he’s been saying a lot of stuff lately that I WISH we would hear other Repubs saying. He was the only one I heard talk about ACORN funding in the bailout. And just now he had a great spiel about the difference btwn McCain and Obama’s tax plans. Of course, if any of the media would COVER the Repubs press conferences, maybe we’d hear it more. Bass turds.

McCain won, but I don’t think it was a total ass whopping. But I dropped my laptop and managed to break the input on my power supply so that sort of brought down my mood. So maybe I’m being too harsh on him.
Krauthammer: gives Obama the economy questions, McCain owned the foreign policy but feels he didn’t flesh out some statements enough (”Obama isn’t ready” but not giving specifics). Feels Obama is a little ahead debate-wise because the economy topics coming up will be his stronger suit.
