How do you think the candidates will do? Obama has been away at Debate Camp all week practicing with a high powered attorney, so I don't think that he will bomb.
McCain’s point on Iran is going to help him a lot with the Jews in FL and NY. He made a very good point that, essentially, 0bama’s “no preconditions” policy is a tacit approval of Iran’s genocidal desires.

Yes, Clinton’s policies sucked, but I’m like you, I didn’t worry about him too much. Although his incompetence got us the US Cole, and the other attacks. He definitely made us less safel.

McCain is so inbred in Washington he doesn’t quite know how to speak to the level of Americans who aren’t political junkies. He’s talking insider speak much of the time and it pains me because it really doesn’t connect.
I’m a bit of a political junkie and it sounds false and petty.
Obama, at times, when McCain has been speaking and when they had the split screen, has looked mad. Interesting.
For someone who needs a teleprompter much of the time, I think Obama has been doing a stellar job, if you are into style over substance.
McCain is now speaking about Russia, repeated his, “When I looked into Putin’s eyes I saw three things: a “K,” a “G,” and a “B.” He thinks Russia was wrong to go into Georgia.
Now for Obama on Russia: He agrees for the most part on the issues of Russia. He thinks we should rebuild the Georgian economy (great, another place we can send out money), “we have to have foresight and anticipate some of these problems. Back in April I warned the Aministration we had Russian peacekeepers in Georgian territory and we need to replace these with international peacekeepers.” That last part was practically word-for-word Obama.
If you can tell me what it means, have at it.

Now, Obambi is claiming that he warned the Administration about Russian peacekeepers in South Ossetia. Obama had admitted in the outset of the invasion that he had to “Google the situation.”
I wonder how many people have most likely turned the channel.. this is policy wonk stuff, it’s extremely interesting to me, but I don’t know about other folks.

My hubby thinks Obama was little up on the 20 minutes of economy - not by much, but enough. He thought within 10 minutes of the Foreign Policy part though - that McCain was pulling ahead...haven’t talked to him since the middle though...
I think he was a little slow in the economy part, but picked up 1/2 way through...I think he’s been cleaning Obama’s clock since then...
Obama acts like a child when McCain is speaking and I do not think people will like that, who are undecided...just a guess though...
