This evening there was a political forum in extreme western North Carolina with candidates for local offices present and representatives for other candidates like Mr. Mccain. Mr. Obama's rep could not attend due to running out of gas in Franklin.
Thsy got gas in Highlands
Oh wait... alternative energy in about 20 years or so...
They got gas in Highlands
Is this due to the severe gas shortage in the South.
Ha ha ha ha ha...
well yes. But considering it was an Obama rep, he’s probably still sitting on the side of the road waitin on
somebody to bail him out. It’s starting to get cold in the mountains. This mornong there frost up there.
Yeah, I love in Charlotte and it’s almost impossible to find gas. DRILL HERE, DRILL NOW.
Get Biden over there. He’s a regular gasbag.
I’d give a weeks pay to have been the McCain rep at that meeting. Think of the fun!!!
I’m really glad that you love in Charlotte. That’s great. Keep up the good work.
Welcome to FR and thanks for your service.
IF he had his tires inflated properly, I bet he could have made it to the meeting.
LOL!
I love Charlotte immensely even though this morning someone broke my passenger door window and stole my briefcase. On the other hand, I called a glass place and they are on their way to repair it. Plus, as always, the glass people who took my call were about as nice as anyone you could talk to. That is my favorite thing about Charlotte (and I think all of the South), everyone is so very friendly.
Wifey and I were wishing that the demographics of the gas shortage would have included the likes of NYC and DC....let the Beltway and Manhattan residents get a taste of what's goin' on in the big country.
Nothing like a senator having to take the bus, and Shepard Smith having to walk to work 'cause the taxis are out of gas.
One of my favorite things about the south is that when someone has a window broken and a briefcase stolen, instead of whining incessantly, they say good things about the nice glass people they called to fix their car. That shows, I think, a belief that most people are good and a refusal to cry too much over spilt milk. I can’t imagine your comment coming from someone in a northeastern city. Can you?
Tip of the hat to you, Yazoo. I don’t know you, but I like your attitude. :)
None of my business.
