I don't know about any chatter, but I saw a thread earlier today that wondered why we haven't gone to Orange.
I was at O'Hare's international terminal today and the threat level IS Orange.
So don't believe what you read here.

I just checked DHS, and for air travel the color is orange. The national color is yellow. Orange is “high” while yellow is “elevated” in terms of danger.

Found this in google. I also heard the same thing. But it was Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who said yesterday that the US was about to fall, financially and militarily. Considering he is a muslim extremist, did he just give a warning at the UN? Islamic Mullahs and Clerics have been saying they have a gola to fly the Islamic flog over the White House, 10 downing street and the kremlin by 2010 for years

If there is any chatter it's probably fake and probably a Department of Homeland Security SCAM. It's too close to election day, and along with the $1T bailout that's headed our way they need something to protect their agency. Our government is here only to obfuscate and stand in our way. That's my opinion.
