Here's a thread for all those Sarah Palin lovers out there in America. I have been reading post after post after post of people who love her, want to be her, carry her child (this from some men!), so I decided to start this thread so everyone can voice their respect for the Governor of Alaska.

Well, I did! I didn’t say exactly how OLD I was, did I? But I am the last of six kids and was born on the eve of the 6th decade. I can tell you with a straight face that I am kinda vague on the late 70’s, early 80’s! So does that count?

No offense, but FR gets more DU every day. Now we’re celebrating so-called conservatives admitting to girl crushes on a vice presidential candidate.

I pretty much have to agree with you. I like Palin, but I am very uncomfortable with the level of worship I have seen of her around here, especially since we don't really know what she is capable of yet. There is still plenty of room for skepticism. A lot of people are probably just happy that we have what seems to be a regular red-blooded American on the ticket instead of all of the silver-spooned political parasites we usually have, but I'll only praise her after I see how she does.

I've said it before, but I'm disgusted. By all accounts, you'd never guess that McCain was even in the race. I have nothing against Palin, but dear God, now we're posting vanities with bright spots like ""I have a crush on Sarah Palin." I had to laugh because she so succinctly voiced what I felt too! " contained therein.

This is the supposed to be the premier site for conservative dialogue, but instead we're now subjected to what amounts to clitorally driven mush in the guise of politics. As if the VPILF threads weren't bad enough, we've proven that both genders are beyond hope.

I raised my (now ex) husbands Down Syndrome/Autistic daughter so I have a special affinity For Gov. Palin. She’s beautiful, smart, and savvy. I called my best friend after Sarah was named VP. I said do you love Sarah Palin or do you LOVE Sarah Palin? She said, and this is unbelievable coming for her, “I want to MARRY Sarah Palin!” I think most conservative women want to adopt her or copy her.

One of the very few reasons (and the others are all about how scary Hussein Zero is) I’m voting for J-Mac is so that Sarah will have four years in Washington to (a) get to know the place before starting her first term as POTUS and (b) prove to us that she can remain untarnished by the corrosion of Washington and be trusted with a term or two as POTUS.

Other than that, I’d just as lief flip the ticket or lop off the top half and find a new bottm half.
