Rumored: Joe Biden dropping out of the race!

Just got back from my local Republican Party headquarters and they were discussing a rumor that Joe Biden was dropping out of the race. The speculation was that it was due to health.

Is this rumor circulating any where else?

I must have missed something. Was Biden given the questions in advance? The VP debate is still 2 weeks away.

I'm saying that if the Dem strategy is to have Biden drop out after the VP debate, that is no excuse for Hillary still having a debate.

We ALL have some liberal past...I was as conservative as they come (I was completely on the side of RIchard Nixon and his administration when I was 11 years old...I thought John Dean should have been hung for treason when I was 15 or so...:)

If Biden did this, it would cause chaos in the democratic party and would look awful to independent voters. It would be terribly unlikely because it would lead to almost certain defeat, no matter who would replace Biden. Democrats get away with this in places like New Jersey, but nationally, it is a non-starter. It will not happen.

I wouldn’t blame them if they switched running mates. Biden is a real crummy vp pick, so I think either way it makes Obama look not very smart.

What I was saying is that given Hilly’s history the only way she would agree to the rules of a debate under rules agreed to by Biden is if those rules were rules she would agree to; which is to say that she new the questions in advance.

Wouldn't it be illegal to switch names on the state ballots this late in the political campaign?

Isn't there a 60 day time limit to switch candidates.

Paper ballots have been printed. Software has been programmed.

Short of the death of a candidate, I would think it would be illegal somehow.
