I visited the west last year. I saw many wind farms. After the first few, I began to count the windmills. I noticed that about 10% or more of the units in each farm were inoperative. That is 10% of the capital is unproductive.

Wind cannot possibly be more economical than nuclear absent perpetual enviro lawsuits.

Solar might make juice for lots of uses but is DC.

wind is very “fickle”..it can produce too much or too little energy, depending...on, uh, the wind.
