Bashing Bush is about as useful in the current crisis as paddling a rowboat with a feather. We can work our way out of the current crisis by using our vast resources. But stop-gaps must be put into place to prevent the crisis from repeating.

Increasing the supply of oil and gas is important, but not as important as resuming the construdction and operation of nuclear plants. Our national growth is completely dependent on new electric power generators.
We have abundant supplies of coal that should also be put to use. One of the byproducts of the 70’s energy crisis was research that produced electricity clean from coal.
Wind and solar are trivial. Neither will ever be sugnificent in America
